Love these! Old school Kork-Ease...the epitome of cool. The nude color elongates your legs and goes with anything. The wedge heel is comfortable and looks awesome. Need I say more?!

Very cute shoe, but slightly wide for my foot, and I usually don't have a problem with width. The leather is so soft and unlined, so it stretches, and the straps get looser, so with such a high heel to me it feels a bit unstable, but I still wear them, and like them a lot. I Just don't wear them for long shopping excursions.

I love this shoe! Very comfortable for a tall wedge. The natural color is great to go with everything. Although it's a casual sandal, the heel height makes me feel a little sexy. I'm a little worried that the sueded sides will soil and may not look good over time, but I'm trying to be careful. Dark jeans tend to rub on the heel.

These platform sandals look fab (and make your legs look way long). Although I haven't had the chance to wear them for any amount of walking yet (it's been too darn cold here), they're truly comfy and I think they're going to stand the walking/standing all day test. The size is true; I have a narrow foot (the shoes come in Medium width) but the ankle strap keeps my foot from slipping through.

I originally purchased these in the natural and loved them so much I got another pair in the brown. They are very comfortable and they look great. They wear like flats. They really do! I have a narrow foot and I am about a size 7.5, so I got the 7 and they fit perfectly. I would think that if you had a wider half-sized foot, you would want to size up. Narrow half-sizes will probably want to size down. Since these were delivered I have worn nothing else!

Well, I had a pair of these in high school in the 70's. I attended a house swim party and it was so fun, until I went to find my so cool platform sandals. Alas nowhere to be found. It was just that someone else liked them also, and left with them. Since I have always liked platforms with my denim and dresses I set out to find a pair of my beloved platforms (fond memories) to no avail. Then I got a holiday mailer from Zappos and low and behold there they sat on a page staring back at me. My husband had heard the story about them, so with much excitement I showed him the picture of the infamous pair and started saving. A lot more than I paid in high school with my babysitting money, but none the less worth every penny. I love them and they are exactly as remembered! Thank You!

Cute shoe if you like your legs to look super long and you're pale like me. Comfy for standing, dancing, running after a toddler, etc. Seem to run a bit smaller than the darker version of the same she that I purchased last summer. I hope they will stretch a bit but they are great sandals and I know they're a classic and will last a long time.

Even though I did not grow up in the 70s; I feel like I should have with these shoes. I love platforms; I am short so the height it is great. I wear these everywhere. Dancing all night to errands at the grocery store. Best platforms of my life. For sizing, I am a solid 8.5, went up to a 9 in these.

A girl friend of mine was sporting these one day and I fell in love with how they looked. Sexy yet simple, practical yet sassy. I had to have me a pair. Like the other reviews suggested, if you're a half-sizer, round up. I have wide fat feet and these toes bands needed some breaking in to get truly comfortable. They're not sensible for standing or walking 8+ hours straight in, but for shorter outings, dressier stints, they're perfect! I love them!

Loved the shoe; however, I have only worn them 3 times and they are already stained and impossible to clean. The leather is so light in color that they look dirty and I am very disappointed. I feel that I can no longer wear them unless I wear long pants that cover them up! I had planned on wearing them all summer and into fall. I tried cleaning them with a soft dry cloth and a very soft brush, but nothing works. I would not recommend this color to anyone for any reason!

I can't walk in heels at all but these 4 inch platforms, which I was never allowed to have as a teenager, are great, and pretty stable to walk in which is a huge plus for the ungraceful, 5'10" tenderfoot like me! The natural color elongates your leg and they are pretty cushy on the balls of your feet. Great with jean shorts and short skirts as well as jeans for that leggy Boho look. I recommend for even the most heel phobic!

I bought this exact style of Kork-ease in 1969 at Maxfield Blue on Santa Monica Blvd., in Los Angeles. They were $45.00. A really huge amount of money for shoes then (for me, anyway). I took them home and immediately (and carefully) wiped them all over with baby oil - don't laugh. We all did it with our Kork-ease then - ask anyone who remembers. If I can get up the nerve I'm going to do it again so they never look dirty! It worked then - should work now...can't wait to get them. I just ordered the Bette Vavchetta...whooo hooo! I'll let you all know how they fit but I know they will be perfect.

Great platform sandal! Super comfortable. I only gave it 4 stars for comfort because the front is a bit tight, hurts my toes! On that note, if you have wide feet i would not recommend this sandal. My feet are average width.\r\nOther than that, I think this shoe is even better looking in person. You can tell it is a quality shoe, nothing cheap about it. Color is beautiful.

I had these in both black and buff, and after two years of almost constant wear, the black ones were beginning to fall apart. I live in San Diego, so can wear sandals almost year 'round, and these were my everyday shoes. So, I bought them again! Exact same shoes, color, style. They are so comfortable, they make your legs look great and long in jeans, they can go with elegant our casual outfits (and did I mention that they are comfortable?). Great shoe, worth buying not once, but twice! Three times, if you count the buff pair, which I wear less often.

After all the great reviews I really wanted to like these sandals. I love the retro style and height of the heel, as I am 5'2". However, when I put them on, my feet slid forward because the front criss-cross straps are too loose; I am a solid M width. So they had to be returned. I may try the close-toed Verna style.

Love these shoes. Love the height and the comfort. The leather cross-strips on the front of the shoe are a little stiff, but after a few hours of wear, they softened up. Had to buy a size up because of the tight fit across that portion of the shoe.
