This is a great product. I wanted something long enough that I wouldn't have to worry about my belly showing. This lets you adjust the length to be as long or short as you would like. The swimming suit does not float up like others I have had, either. I would recommend this top. The straps are a little too long for me, but that might be a sizing issue.

To be honest, I won't be a contestant on America's Next Top Model anytime soon, and the thought of leaving the house in a bathing suit makes me (and probably the rest of the tri-county area) shudder. I really like this tankini top, though; it stays in place, it's flattering, and the built-in bra is actually supportive -- not one of those little bralette/why-even-bother things. You can adjust the length to suit you, which means that you can also control how "bunchy" the shirring is. For now, I keep it long...but if I ever get that elusive six-pack, I have the option to hike it up. I got the matching tie-side bottoms too, but sent them back. They looked horrible on me; they might just not have worked with my shape, but it was like they created a whole new set of hips. Plus the extra set of ties was overkill and drew too much attention to the area I'd like people to forget. Fortunately Zappos is God's gift to online shopping, so my return was fast and easy and I bought a plain black bikini bottom from Tommy Bahama instead, which works with this top perfectly.

This is a great suit! Very supportive and comfortable. The shirred sides hide the flaws and you can make it shorter or a little longer to suit your style.

Not flattering and runs very small. I am normally a 4/6 in most sizes. Reading that this ran small I ordered a size 6 and an 8 just to be safe. The 8 is skin tight and not very flattering. I am 5 4 130 lbs. Thin build with a few problem areas. I mean if you had no problem areas you probably would opt for the bikini vs a tankini anyway, right? If you study the model wearing the blue version, you can see the complete outline of her belly, under her rib cage and down. It's a very thin material and very un-forgiving. Imagine if she had a few inches to lose around her belly, it just clings to it and enhances every flaw. I guess maybe I could go up to a size 10 or 12 to have it feel loser but come on, I'm feeling a little self conscious already and to order a size 12 when I normally wear a 4 in most outfits? Also, I'm not very top heavy, if you know what I mean, and this takes the little God gave me and completely flattens me out. Needless to say, it's going back.

Beware - African violet color is not shown right in the picture. I was expecting a pink suit and it is really purple. It looks nothing like the photo. Also, the inside seams in the top show on the outside.

Finally something to cover my bust. I'm breastfeeding and couldn't find anything to provide adequate coverage and support. Top is awesome, bottoms seem to run a little small. Very comfortable.

I wanted a flattering suit for swimming laps. This isn't the best for that purpose. Because the suit is not high cut, water can pool in the chest area and cause drag. Also, the suit is not flattering when it is wet, because the extra fabric on the waist clings to the belly. As another viewer wrote, the belly button is clearly visible through the suit.
