I bought this shoe after reading a book on men's style that warned against tassels and intricate wingtippery. Simple, black, round-toe lace-up, like 'Eddy' here, are hard to find. I find the heel more springy than I'm used to, but otherwise these shoes are comfortable right out of the box and suitable for all but the most formal occasions.

My husband was reluctant to have me buy shoes online, but he needs a wide width and it is almost impossible to find them in the stores in a "nice" style. He loves these shoes so much he wants me to order the same ones in black! They look nice enough to wear with a suit, yet look just as great with a pair of Dockers! Comfy and classy!

I bought these for my 23 year old son and he likes them. He has not tried them on yet, but I am happy he likes the style. Now lets see if this size is right. They look comfortable. Price is right! I told him he must spray them with nubuck repellent, with this awful weather we are having you do not want to ruin them. Mom did good this Christmas, he loves all his Zappos clothes. These are very comfortable shoes. The style is versatile as well. I have a pair of black ones that I wear casually and also with a suit for work. It is nice to have a pair of shoes that can do double duty like that.

The longer I have these shoes, the more I admire them. This shoe is great in many ways. It looks good at the office, or with jeans. The interior is very comfortable; and the exterior is durable yet stylish. The treads on the shoes are great - they're slip resistant. I can run down the street in them but one would never know this because they look like regular dress shoes. They hold up fine in the rain. I wish they had this shoe in black too.

Bought these for my husband, and had to return for a half-size smaller. The leather is also stiff and requires breaking-in. He also complains that they feel too wide. But overall, for the price, he's satisfied with the purchase. We probably won't buy Nunn Bush again, as their sizing appears to vary by style and it's too hard to find a good fit.

I'm writing this review after a few months of wearing these shoes. Overall I like them. They are a great contemporary style and are very comfortable. The problem I have is that these shoes don't wear well. I've only had them for 6 months and they look pretty beat up. Kind of disappointing for an otherwise good shoe.
