5 1/2 feels very narrow at foot. Wide calf fits nicely but zipper does not move smoothly. Nice appearance.

These boots are the greatest. I wore them 14 hours on the first day and my feet were very happy. I have a high instep and normally have a hard time finding boots that I can slip into. They are wide at the calf which for me is much more comfortable for walking and wearing for extended periods.
Brands I'd also recommend: This is my third pair of Fitzwell boots and all were great.

These boots are extremely comfortable and stylish. I can wear them all day with no problem. I've had them for a year now. I love them. I just ordered another pair (knee length & higher heel). I hope they're just as comfortable.

Beautiful Boot! Nice leather and a nice fit with pants tucked in or left out. Runs slightly small on me, but not enough to change size. Also, slightly narrow in the toe box, but I believe that will stretch to fit after some breaking in time. Zappos rocks!

These shoes are very nice looking and fit well on my wide feet and calf. The calf is quite wide. I believe I am 16.5-17" and they are very roomy but they do not slouch. I like them with dresses or skinny jeans.

Finally...gorgeous boots that fit not only my WW feet but my extra wide calves as well! They look sharp and will enhance any wardrobe, whether casual or semi-formal. I purchased the black followed by the puma. I love both so much that I purchased the black suede. Can't wait to receive them!

Beautiful, soft leather is very comfortable. Wide calf leaves plenty of room for leggings or skinny jeans. Did order 1/2 size larger due to previous reviews, but I think I would have been fine at normal size. WW is perfect for my very wide feet. Height of shaft is just higher than mid-point of calf, wish I could have gotten taller boots, but were out of my size.

Love these boots! The calf is a bit too wide for me, and it doesn't really come up to the calf. Still, they will look great with leggings and tights. The picture doesn't do them justice.

I love these boots! I have benign tumor on a nerve in my left foot so I have to wear really wide shoes. Until now, I could only wear tennis shoes. I purchased a 1/2 size larger and a WW width. The WW is more of a W, but they still work, with cotton between my toes. The boots are attractive and with nice leather. Would recommend them.

These boots are fantastic looking, the picture doesn’t do them justice! They are also surprisingly very comfortable. The only thing wrong with them is that they are about a half size smaller feeling, so it’s best to order a half size bigger than your usual size.

They fit very well. I have a 17" calf and they aren't tight. And my foot is about 27cm and the 12 fits great (has a little room at the toe). I haven't worn them much but they seem to be very comfortable and look great under jeans. First boot I have found to fit so well! Very happy. :0)

It’s so nice to finally find shoes that fit my size and look cute too. This pair is a mid calf boot that’s really soft and feels great on. I was a little worried about ordering over the internet but I’m so glad I did! I have very wide feet and wear a size 10 so it’s hard to find anything in my size that is actually worth wearing. I have worn these around all day and they feel great. I will definitely buy this brand again.
