I tried the Sanita brand after reading reviews on the Zappos site of other Sanita clogs. I used to wear Danskos, but won't again after wearing a Sanita clog. The arch is extremely supportive and the heel is a comfortable height. (I always wear flats!) There is absolutely no break-in time. This clog is extremely smart looking with the snaps on the cross strap. The snaps can be moved over once if a bit more tightening is needed across the instep. I have a very narrow foot and the fit is perfect with a sock of moderate thickness. I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit and I am thrilled! And, as always, Zappos service is fast and impeccable.

This is a very good looking clog. Unfortunately, the right clog was a bit much tighter. I wore it at home for a few hours thinking that it would loosen up a little, but my foot just started to hurt. So I am returning and trying another one. I know that these are handmade, so some irregularities are expected (however frustrating).

These are beautiful shoes, I love them. Regarding fit, the two items worth mentioning are: 1) the part across the top of my foot (instep?) is slightly tighter than my previous Danskos (Pita); it's not terrible, but I am hoping they break in a little there/get a little looser. 2) As with most old-Danskos/Sanitas I've tried, my toes hit the front of the shoe slightly. This depends a lot on the style; most clogs aren't too bad, but the newer Danskos (more 'stylish' styles) feel quite a bit smaller. But generally very small concerns. These are great shoes, comfortable, great footbed, etc.

About Sanita
Since 1907, Sanita® has embraced the Danish word "hygge" (pronounced hue-guh) in the construction of each and every pair of Sanita clogs. Loosely translated, "hygge" means "making everything cozy". Clean design, natural materials and fine craftsmanship are just a few things that make Sanita clogs so special. Christian Andersen, Sanita's founder, utilized these three things to help make Sanita what it is today. Andersen left his career as a farmer forever when he began creating clogs out of wood. After a half-century of building the business, Christen and his son Johannes closed their successful store and completely devoted themselves to designing and distributing footwear. This risky maneuver paid off in the early 1980's.
1983 marked a definitive year for Sanita - that's the year that Christian discovered a factory in Italy that made cast soles out of polyurethane. This innovate new technology allowed Sanita to shape clog bottoms to fit the anatomical shape of the foot. With heel, arch and toe support and added shock absorption, the polyurethane heel combined with the upturned toe of the Sanita clog provided unmatched comfort and launched each and every step with a simple rolling motion. Thus, the Sanita Original Collection (then the San-Flex) was born and is still made in Europe.

More recently, clogs have become a fashion statement as well and can be seen on the feet of the fashionable world-wide. For the past 25 years, Sanita has continued to innovate with superior design, materials and hand-crafted European construction. My wife ordered these shoes. We were amazed with the speed with which we received the order. She had been shopping locally, but could not find her size. You had the size and color and they fit perfect. She loves them and will order from you again.

This is a great shoe. I had not worn Sanitas before but definitely will wear them again. The leather is very soft and the shoe is very comfortable. I did order 1 size up since the shoe is closed in. Normally I order a size 40 but got this in size 42 which is a great fit. Zappos is the very best shoe distributor to deal with. I am always pleased!

Why have I not discovered this company sooner? These shoes are excellent, comfortable, cute, and good for your feet. I like that the Sanita shoe brand is still European made, unlike Dansko shoes that are now being made in China.

Oh, Cory! I wanted to love you! I thought we would be perfect for each other, you with you adjustable instep and me with my high arches. But I realized it could just never work because you irritated me. No, no! It's not you! It's me! I have wide feet, and the edges of the elastic under your snaps just rubbed me the wrong way. So I am going to have to set you free. I just know you will be perfect for some other girl!

At first I wasn't sure about this shoe. I like the look of the shoe but wasn't sure I could get through the "break in" period as they felt really tight. I am on my feet for at least 10 hours a day at work and need really good supportive shoes. After the first day or two they felt much better. The adjustable strap has 3 different fits which is nice. There is good arch support as well. I will be keeping these shoes. As always, super fast shipping!

I ordered these in brown, and am very happy that they are a true, dark brown. The snaps are sliver. These clogs have excellent arch support and are every bit as comfortable as the Sanita/Dansko Professional clogs I have known for years. Love them!

Another reviewer bemoaned her inability to fit in this lovely clog due to high arches. I though, "My arches are high, but not that high, let me try." Alas, it is true, the adjustable strap is only minimally adjustable so it isn't going to accommodate my arches and back it must go. No Sanitas for me.

I wear these shoes nearly every day in cold weather. I have had them for about a year now. I love how they feel and how they look. I have really wide feet and often can\'t wear cute shoes. These are nice and wide. I also have super high arches and they come close to providing good support. I can wear them when I do a short walk with the dogs, but if it\'s a long walk I\'ll still put tennis shoes on. I basically go from Chaco\'s in summer to these or boots in cold weather. Sanitas fit me way better than Danskos, I think due to my high arches. At first they were a bit tight on the top of my left foot, but they stretched nicely. Do yourself a favor and get a pair of Sanitas!

Fantastic shoe. I am in the medical field and on my feet all day. I normally wear dansko but wanted to give the Sanita's a try. I absolutely love them. Solid construction, great arch support and very nice looking!

I love Zappos, but I am very disappointed with Sanita. I have very bad feet, three surgeries in all and have difficulty finding comfortable shoes. I purchased a pair of Dansko's and love them. I did some research and found that Sanita's are the original clog and thought I would give them a try. The right foot was so tight I could hardly get the shoe on. I will be replacing these with another pair of Dansko's. Too bad, I liked these shoes.

Danskos have been my brand for years. Read reviews of these and decided to try, since this Cabrio style is so cute. But the "profile" of the Sanita is too shallow for my foot. In other words, they are way too tight across the top of my foot. Danskos fit snug at first but soon stretch. With this Sanita I can only force my foot into the shoe and I don't think they will stretch much. Lately I've noticed some of the cuter styles of Danskos other than Professionals are also very shallow in their profile, and do not fit my feet. Okay, shoe makers, how about making some of these cute styles with the same kind of fit as the Professional for those of us whose feet are not skeletal?

I love these shoes! I just purchased them after 4 years of wearing the regular Sanita Cabrio. I wanted the same comfort with a tiny bit more pizazz which is why I chose the "Cori." I love the stitching on the sides as well as the buckle look with snaps. My previous shoes finally gave out, but my feet were so well supported over the last 4 years that I knew I had to continue with the Sanita brand. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who is on their feet a lot, or has flat feet or other foot issues. You will not regret it! Also, Zappos customer service is excellent. I purchased the shoes with the regular 5-7 day free shipping, and was upgraded to overnight shipping at no cost to me. That was really nice. One last thing. I normally wear a women's size 9.5 shoe which is a European 40. However, Sanitas seem to run small. I wear a size 41 which is a size 10.5-11 in these shoes.
