These boots are beautiful. Great leather work, and style. The fit is accurate to size and they are very comfortable. They are very easy to slip in and out of. The only problem I have with them would be that when you walk close to anything like furniture, the buckle gets caught on everything and tears things up. They should have faced the buckle towards you instead of facing forward.

I ordered the Chocolate Brown boots, which are beautiful. For me, I never know if I should order an 8 1/2 or a 9 because brands have different sizing. I did order these in 8 1/2 and I'm really glad I did because there is plenty of room in the toe of these boots. I think the leather is good quality and from walking around my apartment, they seem to be pretty comfy.

I ordered because they were edgy and hip for a classic riding boot style, and because the circumference was listed at 15.00 inches. Well, the circumference wasn't 15.00, it was slightly less than 14.5, and alas, they do not zip up all the way. Considered taking them to my leather works guy, and having an elastic insert put in them, but decided that was too much work and the perfect boot must be out there. Somewhere. After ordering, trying on, and sending back 11 pairs, I'm not sure where I'll find it, but I'll keep looking! By the way, the leather of this boot was pebbled, flexible, and gorgeous, and the detailing in the seaming was likewise fabulous. I felt like the zipper had a tendency to "catch" down by the ankle.

These boots are beautiful but run big. I ordered an 8.5 and had to send them back because I had enough room in the toe I could have filled it with an acorn! Thankfully the free shipping means I can give these boots another chance.

These are beautiful well made leather boots, but when I got them they were too narrow and I could not get them zipped up. I had to return them which is upsetting because I really liked the way they looked.

Love, love, love these boots! I get tons of compliments every time I wear them! I am a wide 7 but can still wear these in the 7 M offered. I found that the shaft runs pretty narrow so if you don\'t have thinner calves you wouldn\'t be able to wear them with jeans. I am very happy with my purchase!

These boots are absolutely gorgeous, but indeed, the shaft is narrow. I can zip them up if I lie on my back with my feet in the air. I'm either an 8.5 or a 9, and going by other reviews I went with the smaller size, but I might exchange them for the 9. I'm not finding the toe as roomy as others have. Either way, I am totally happy with the style!

Okay, ladies. Measure your calf circumference and listen carefully. My calf measures 13" at its fullest point. These boots fit my skinny little legs perfectly with skinny jeans tucked in. I am 5'7" and these boots hit at the bottom of my knees. I love them, but if you are shorter than 5'7" or have fuller calves, they will not work for you! The leather is high quality, the workmanship is great, and the style is kickin'. I made a commitment to find the perfect casual black boots this season, and have ordered 12 pairs of black boots from Zappos and other websites. I chose from all manufacturers and price ranges. These are the winner! The price is reasonable, and the boots are comfortable. I love them and know I will enjoy them for years to come! If you are between sizes, order down. I am an 8.5 or 9, and ordered the 8.5. It is pretty roomy, I have room for thick socks and could probably even put in a cushier insole if they stretch at all.

Well, I'm bummed. After reading all the great reviews, I thought for sure these would be keepers. Unfortunately, they just look like galoshes on me: big around the calf, very wide/bulky in the ankle. Maybe it's because I mainly wanted to wear them with skirts, but even when I tried them on with skinny jeans, the shape was just too bulky. I love the styling though with the trim and the zipper and buckle. I only wish they were shaped more to my liking. I'll be returning them.

Cute style, true to size (maybe a wee bit on the wide side), but the calves were huge on me. I saw reviews saying they are small so I was hopeful, but on me they had a couple inch gap. They hit right below my knee which would have been cute if they were smaller in the calf. Quality and design was nice, but they were not attractive on my skinny legs.

These are the best boots I have ever owned! The size is true and the leather is extremely soft. I receive so many compliments on them. My only complaint is that the buckle on the outside is uncomfortable when I cross my legs. Otherwise, an A+.

I love these boots! I ordered the light brown and they are beautiful. These boots do run a little big, but I ordered my usual size, and I like the extra room. The boot shaft is a little narrower than others I've tried, which makes them more versatile. I can wear them with jeans or a skirt and they look great with both. If you have muscular calves, they might run too narrow in the shaft. They look great on and, in my case, didn't require any "breaking in". Beautiful and great quality!

Overall, these boots are great and beautifully made. They are a little snug around the calf at the top when I tuck skinny jeans into them. Therefore, if you have a wider calf, these probably won't work for you. They are very comfortable. I'm a student that is walking around campus a lot and I feel like I could walk forever and ever in these. These boots have a "harder" look to them (the first time my Dad saw them he asked where I got the motorcycle boots) so if that's what you're going for these are perfect! If you are looking for something dressier/softer, these may not be the boots for you. In general, I love these boots, have worn them several times since I purchased them last month and have gotten many compliments.

These boots are gorgeous! Beautiful leather and style, very nice looking. Only problem is that the calves are extremely small. I am 5\'4 and 125 lbs and my body is average, but the calves did not fit me, and unfortunately I had to make the return.

I love this boot. It is super comfortable, super cute and goes well with casual or dressy outfits. It's the perfect boot for tights and short skirts. I'm a huge Franco Sarto fan, and he delivered once again. I have skinny calves, so liked that the shaft of the boot is a bit narrower than some. However, over time the shaft has been sinking a bit, and that's annoying. The buckle at the top snaps on and off easily when you want to zip it up or down. The snap is so well hidden that I did not realize this as first and was unbuckling it, which is a hassle, so note the snap! I noted this in my ratings; boots seem to feel bigger than marked, and this boot is slightly narrower in the foot/toe than I expected. Even so I can wear these all day they are so comfortable!

These boots (in cuoio calf) did not look as great in person as they did in the pictures. The leather in the shaft of the boot was pebbly, but the leather on the shoe seemed not to match, it was smooth. The zipper was larger than normal, bulky, not easy to pull up or down. Rather baggy/bulky in the ankle area. I was disappointed and had to return them.
