- Full-grain leather upper with hook-and-loop straps for effortless on-and-off wear.
- Padded tongue and collar provides abrasion resistance and prevents lace bruising.
- High-grade 3D mesh sock lining facilitates air circulation and conducts moisture away from the foot.
- TPU and glass fiber shank supplies requisite rigidity to the sole construction.
- The balancing area underneath the metatarsus is a vital part of the polyurethane midsole and requires an active rolling movement with every step.

The technology behind MBT is the greatest. I have to say that these are so classy looking but dont have the more intense rocker effects that most MBT's have. But this may be best for a first pair and versatility for a more dressy style overall. The technology is so great, it helped with nerve damage in my hips thanks to sports addiction years back. Try these if you crave the best and dont need to save money by first trying all the rest!
Brands I'd also recommend: nothing, not Sketchers, Not Memphisto, Naot, these are IT!

Love these shoes! The styling is slimmer and more streamlined than my first pair of MBTs, and goes well with several pant lengths. They even look a bit dressy, at least in the pantsuit mode. I can wear them to work every day and they don't look out of place at all. I have a narrow foot and too often have to settle for lace-ups in order to wear MBTs, but the Velcro closures help maintain a snug fit on my foot. I have osteoarthritis in my toes and Morton's Neuroma, as well; these shoes take almost all pressure off of my forefoot and basically keep me ambulatory. Love these shoes!

f you wish you could wear Dansko clogs to clomp around and look "with it" but you can't because they are too stiff, this is a great option. I don't know that I would have chosen them if it weren't for bunions and arthritis. That said, they beat my other style options by miles (Mary Janes or sneakers with orthotics). They are expensive, but worth it because they look it. Some say they take getting used to, but aside from feeling taller, I put them on and could walk without pain. They mold to your foot with each wearing. Weight is distributed evenly across the foot bed. The velcro straps were stiff at first, and challenging to adjust, but be patient. The top softens up within a few weeks. Plenty of support for back, for standing (like Dansko) and added cushion for bouncing along on hard floors. This shoe is worth every penny. I discovered them at a mall store in the lace up version. Preferred these and the "so much better customer service" from Zappos. But, if you are reading this. you know no company does it better. Wish they would run the government.

About MBT
The many benefits of MBT shoes are not only substantiated by numerous scientific studies; they are also being enjoyed on a daily basis by more and more health- and fitness-conscious people who improve their physical fitness by merely wearing this physiological footwear. MBT shoes can activate neglected muscles and tone and shape the entire body.
Doctors and physiotherapists recommend MBTs as an effective therapeutic tool, and top athletes like Benni Raich and Michael von Granigen use their MBT sneakers as mini training and regeneration centers. Shoes designed by MBT can have a positive impact in improving posture and gait, reducing stress on the knees and hips, and even help with joint, ligament and tendon injuries.

I wear 8.5-9. Bought the 8.5. They felt a full-size too small and dug into my heals, couldn\'t strap the straps easily. Felt a 9.5 would probably be right and gave them to my daughter who can fit in 8 to 9.

My first pair of MBT\'s and it took a little bit of getting used to. But now, I have 3 pairs and I wouldn\'t trade them in for anything. The great cushioning helps with sore feet and knees and they have the added benefit of working different muscles in the legs. Great casual shoe that doesn\'t look orthopedic!

This is my second pair of MBTs. The first pair took a few weeks to get used to, and the advantages for me are no more shin pain when walking and stronger knees. Unfortunately, my second pair also took a few weeks to get used to even though I was already an MBT wearer. I never got a good answer to my question, "Does the foot conform to the shoe, or does the sensor inside the shoe conform to foot? (which would explain why it took time to feel comfortable in my second pair)." The velcro gives it a snug fit and a nice look. I told my husband these are expensive, but my expensive shoes are instead of the jewelry that he neither buys me nor do I desire. One more thing: I have high arches, and I usually cannot wear shoes with high arch support, but somehow these work for me.

I have been wearing MBT\'s for approximately 3 years now. I have greatly benefitted by wearing them daily all day. I have recently joined a hiking group and was searching for a good hiking shoe. I did not want a tie shoe so ordered the Nama model. It is not a good choice for a hiking shoe but I needed a good MBT dress shoe so kept them. I seldom wear my old dress shoes as my feet are happier in my MBT shoes
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell is a good brand for hiking

I chose the MBT Nama shoes in an effort to help reduce the pain in my lower back and the stiffness in my hips which seemed to be due to an imbalance in my step. The first week I was a little soar while my body became accustomed to having to step equally with each foot. I love the shoes and I feel they have helped me stand and walk straighter and even seem to help firm up the glutes !! I also like the look of these in particular, kinda high tech, not so much like sneakers. I wear them daily to do my errands as well as the treadmill etc. I would highly recommend !i usually need size 8 but 8.5 was a better fit.

Great shoe, looks real good, comfortable, does make you improve your posture, need to get 1/2 size larger than normal, you will probably get more because they spoil you for all the other shoes in the closet. They are great for your all around health. Love them.

I love these shoes. Ugly? Yes but are they comfortable. And best yet, they have helped relieved the pain in my lower back. They are soft. They feel cozy. I had to order a half-size larger. The medium is wide enough for my wide feet. I stand straighter. And feel taller. Give \'em a try. And Zappos has a great return policy. Their operators are helpful and happy. The rest of the world should be this happy!

Great shoe, even more comfortable than my MBT sport lows. The shoe looks a lot better on than it does in pictures or on display. My husband said that the patent velcro straps make it look kind of like I'm wearing a trendy European ski boot without the "boot" part. For some reason the heel seems to fit a lot better than the sport lows, no slippage like I have experienced with other new MBTs. I really like this shoe.

These are my first MBT's which I got with hopes of alleviating some knee and back aches. I've only worn them a few times but can really tell they do work out different muscles and will help with my aches. However, they are stiff and bulky and have less arch support than I need. They do have removable soles, so I was able to add my own arch support pads underneath to help. They are not my go-to choice for comfort but they definitely provide the therapeutic benefits for which they are known. I'm very pleased about that so far and if that continues after I really break them in, I'll be back for more.

I had a hard time initially justifying the cost of these shoes given what they are purported to do. That being said I decided to take a chance and am glad that I did. I did have to get over initial blisters on the back of my heels but after a week of constant wear it\'s my shoe of choice. Due to my carpal tunnel, I love the ease of the velcro straps which was a very important feature. The shoe doesn\'t give as much arch support as I would like since I have high arches but it hasn\'t bothered me enough to buy any insoles. The style is more fashion-friendly and I\'ve actually gotten many compliments on these. This definitely took less time to break in than Dansko shoes which I also really like. I listened to the feedback online and ordered a half-size larger (7) and it fits well. I don\'t think this shoe in my normal size would have fit.

This is my third pair of MBTs. It takes me forever to save up for a pair, but my feet have a lot of problems and MBT shoes give relief in a way that is different from my other comfort shoes. These are quite snazzy and more dressy than the typical sneaker-type or comfort shoe. I suspect the patent\/shine portions will crack over time since they are showing creases already, but that is the nature of patent. I have had to switch sizes up. The fit would be better if the shoe was wider in the toe box and much narrower in the heel. Nonetheless, these shoes are currently the most comfortable ones I have and the most flashy of my comfort shoes by far.
Brands I'd also recommend: Aetrix shoes are good shoes.

These run at least a half to a full size small. If you have narrow feet only a half, but regular to wide feet a whole size too small. Also, they don't have as much support & "rock" as the regular MBTs. I wouldn't order these again.
