- Waterproof and flexible synthetic rubber shell.

- Removable 8mm Zylex® liner. Zylex® is Kamik®'s proprietary removable liner. It is a revolutionary 3-layer design that provides superior warmth and moisture management protection. The three layers consist of:
-Layer One: Closest to the foot, this polypropylene layer wicks perspiration from the foot, keeping the foot dry and comfortable.
-Layer Two: A dense felt layer that traps body heat within the natural air pockets.
-Layer Three: A Space Program technology, the last layer is a thermal foil that provides a deflecting barrier against the outside while reflecting body heat back to the body. - Antibacterial Kamik® comfort EVA footbed provides long-wear comfort.
- Lightweight EVA midsole provides cushion and support.
- TRIUMPH outsole maximizes traction.
- Kamik® rated:-40°F/-40°C.

I bought these boots for my son. They are fantastic! I love the look, the comfort and warmth, but they definitely run at least a size too small. I am returning them for the next size up. Thank you, Zappos!

I wear an 11.5, ordered a 12 hoping for a little extra room. Returning for a size 13 (which I've never worn in my life). These definitely run a whole size small. Great boots, fast service.

This is an awesome boot! The fit is perfect and its very comfortable. It takes some work to lace them up but it's worth the trade off for the security of dry and warm feet. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good cold weather boot that actually holds up to the task.
Brands I'd also recommend: Baffin, Sorel, North Face and Columbia

Best Pair of boots I own!! Got slammed with more then 30" of snow. Spent hours (days) in the deep snow and blistering cold, but my feet never got wet or became cold. The rugged tread digs in and provided good grip in snow or mud. Definitely a great boot for serious cold wet weather. Would recommend the Kamik Blacktail to anyone…

Wore these all week long in Steamboat and these deliver as promised! I wore them 4 hours while riding a snowmobile in 15 degree weather and my feet stayed dry and warm! The same can\'t be said for my companions that wore snowmobile boots, their feet were cold within 2 hours. \r\n\r\n

I just love these shoes to pieces! I got them for my dad in Russia and he loves them! They are light and very warm. The lining is pretty thick (especially towards the top) and no cold or snow is able to get through. This is a trusted this brand! Columbia is the the best so far! Thank you Zappos for a great deal! I will come back later for sure!
