I got a pair of MBT Bomoas after hearing a friend rave about hers. I ordered a half size larger than usual at the suggestion of other customers on the Zappos site, and they fit perfectly, especially with thick socks. Walking in them is great fun (lots of bounce). Standing requires a little more adaptation. They were perfect for long walks in London; smart enough for a city but comfortable for miles of walking on concrete. I have also used them for 5-mile hikes in the woods; they probably don't have quite enough traction for trail shoes, but they work all right. Good purchase!

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable. I have them in black and brown. I only wear MBTs now! My shoe size is a 6½, but I always order MBT shoes in a 7½. I also replace the insole with an orthotic. These shoes are great for orthotics.

I had significant foot pain. Arthritis in my toes impacted my ability to do my daily work on our small farm. I wore this all day, every day including riding my mule and horse. They kept my feet dry and comfortable and were safe in the stirrups. You are forced to walk a bit slower but I had virtually no pain in the toes. I destroyed one pair in several months and now wear the destroyed pair for chores and the replacement pair for non-mud/wet activities. I hope they make this model for the rest of my life.

These are really cute and even more comfortable than the last MBT's I ordered. I have gotten many compliments on them. A plus is they make your feet look smaller too!

These shoes are a life saver! I have used the sneakers (since they first came out) and stopped wearing them after I had a spinal fusion (didn’t hurt anymore, didn’t need them) then I got rear ended by a car a year later! My spine hurt! I remembered how wonderful these sneakers worked, but didn’t want to condemn myself to being a fashion victim with dress pant and sneakers AGAIN!!! These boots are comfy, not as inclined as the sneakers, but I can already feel a bit of a difference in my lower back pain, and my c-spine. Plus I have lost weight!!! And my butt is tight! I highly recommend to anyone that needs these types of shoes... splurge, your spine is worth it! (Don’t get all cheap and go to the knock offs... they are more sketchy... if you catch my meaning.) Oh and BTW, order a 1/2 size up, and they are wide enough for a wide width foot! Narrows I think you will need a thick pair of socks! Oh and great ankle support!

Love the MBT Bomoa. I have several other pairs of MBTs - they are one of the only shoes I can wear these days that supports my feet well enough to do long walks. This is the first pair that is actually kind of cute - they don’t look like "my crazy walking shoes", which is what my son calls my other MBTs. I find that the fit is exactly the same as my other MBTs, which is 1/2 size bigger than my "regular" shoes. Am saving up for the brown pair, too!

Nice. I got a pair and thoroughly enjoy them with a little added insole for more arch support. Outer sole has a thinner profile, which may explain the arch support being less than my other two pair of MBTs. My daughter got a pair of Bomoa and her posture was very nearly correctly aligned the first time she put them on (with added Birkenstock arch support insert). My husband wishes MBT made this boot for men. He has a pair of MBT tennis shoes and he no longer has foot pain. All in all nicely done.

I bought this boot because I have another pair of MBT tennis shoes and I have a very bad back. The MBT shoes help me be able to walk more than any other shoe I have tried, and believe be I have tried many, even the spring shoes. When I put this boot on it was like putting on a well fitted glove, these are even better than my other MBT. I wear them all the time I am going to order another pair in brown. I love them and would strongly recommend them to anybody.

These shoes are heavenly. I was told that it would take some getting used to. However, I put them on and went to work and walked all day and it was an immediate success. Many people have sung the praises of MBTs. I have not tried them because the styles are pretty clunky. This one is stylish and comfy.

Finally, an MBT that doesn't look like a therapeutic shoe. Like blunnies only better. I've been wearing MBTs for a couple of years now for nasty arthritic feet, but have always disliked the look. These are slick, stylish, feel great, and fit like most MBTs: a little on the short side. I ordered 1/2 size up for fit.

I found these boots extremely comfortable, but they are the least like my other MBTs. They have very little curve to the sole and very little height, and when walking in them, they almost feel like regular shoes. If I’d purchased them as my first pair of MBTs, I think I would have been disappointed because they feel so much like regular shoes. However, they are still extremely comfortable and do have a little of the MBT action, so I really enjoy wearing them for work during winter months. I recommend them for anyone who’d like a pair of boots and who doesn’t care if they get a pair of shoes which are less like most MBTs which have a lot more height and curve to the sole. Maybe a good starter pair for someone who is a little afraid of the height and curve on most MBTs. Great pair of boots in my opinion, just a little different from your average MBTs. Had to buy a half size larger than I normally wear, from 8.5 to 9. A little hard to get your foot into, but doable.

Good Looking Short Boot. I have at least a dozen pairs of MBTS and was grateful that this boot has arrived. I wear an 8 in MBT sandals and shoes but needed an 8 1/2 in this boot. It's good looking, and the sole is the MBT sole, butt cuts across my ankle in a way I'll have to get used to, and it's a little tight in the top of toe box and a little large in the heel. With MBTS I usually offset large heel problems with extra socks, but can't do that this time because of the diminished toe space. You'll need a shoehorn to put these boots on with ease.

Very sad there is not a 6.5 or 7 available or a wide 6. I may be returning mine due to the difficulty getting them on and off.
