I just bought these. I've bought Sorel for 20 plus years; used them in ranching, fishing, construction. It's 11 degrees outside and my feet are toasty, there's a tightness at the top of my foot when I pull laces tight. Why? Don't know. Otherwise, they work well, function well, better than our political parties.

Full Tilt could be great. Very comfortable. They run about half a size large and only come in full sizes. I have a fused right ankle and can barely get into the boot because of it's "chimney" design. However, the boots are warm and comfortable, so a thin wool or poly sock will do the trick. The cord for tightening the "gator" separated, came apart after a couple of weeks. Otherwise, I am happy. I snowshoed in these in 2 ft. deep powder, post-holing all the way. I have tromped through slush in town and walked in the rain. My feet have stayed warm and dry. They also are good enough looking to wear around town (Bend).

These are by far the best winter boots I\'ve ever owned. Used daily in extreme conditions, feet stay warm, excellent traction. Would recommend one size bigger than normal shoe size to allow for a good winter fit. I do use a sock liner plus a thick wool sock for toasty feet.

Nice looking, good quality, warm, comfortable, waterproof boot. A little effort required to get them on and off, but that\'s the case with any tie boot. Seem like they will last a lifetime.

Great bad weather boot. Comfortable right out of the box, very little break-in required. Very good traction in icy conditions and they will keep your feet warm and dry in deep snow. Perfect for DC’s "Snowmeggedon" winters.

I got these just in time for our snow storm...snow to my knees and my feet are dry and warm. Wear 2 pairs of socks though, as they do not have soft insoles at all. Once you get that second pair on though, man I tell you what they are comfortable for a day of climbing sledding hills!!!

These boots are great! They are so comfortable for just walking around - in the snow or not. They are not as huge/puffy looking as some of the other snow boots out there, so they look pretty good with jeans or whatever for walking around in the city. They are warm too, although when I stood around in the snow while my son was sledding, my feet did get a bit cold.

Great winter boots. Of course as soon as they arrived it stopped snowing in our area. Note that the sizing of these boots is on the large side. I wear New Balance size 11 sneakers and I ended up with size 10 Sorel boots. There's another reason for buying with Zappos--free returns when the boot doesn't fit. Very comfortable boots and highly recommended.

I purchased this boot for show shoe adventures. It fit a little big, so I thru an extra pair of socks on, which did the job. Very comfortable, warm, totally waterproof. I did some steep climbing, and this boot honored its name with a great ability to flex without digging in to your ankle. Very comfortable for all day wear. No hot spots etc. I also used them to go out to dinner in the evening, and they looked great enough for the fan far of Vail.

These boots are amazing. Everything that you read about it specifics is true. Warm, and more beautiful in real life than on the photos. They feel just right on your feet and I was surprised how light they are. I'm definitely becoming a Sorel fan. And the other reviewers are right about the size, bear in mind they are maybe one size larger than usual, but if you are warmblooded during wintertime and you consider winter socks then you'll be fine.

Big disappointment; not of Zappos, but of this boot. Bottom line is that the gator lock cord broke, out of the box, with two pairs of these boots. Unbelievable. Otherwise they look terrific, but I've got to believe this boot line is defective. Not going to waste any more time with Sorel -- looking at Kamik and Baffin instead. Make no mistake -- Zappos was awesome throughout the process, and I will order my replacement boots from Zappos.

Sturdy cold weather boot served me well walking/hiking in moderate snow. The built in gaiters are a great idea and serve well to keep snow out if you aren't wearing gaiters; however, the gaiter tensioners do not last! I went through 2 pairs of these and am now trying the Conquest to see if they do any better.

Very comfortable boots. I use them mainly for snowshoeing. However, they are poorly constructed, especially where the boot material is glued to the sole. Because of this poor quality, they leak terribly even in packed snow.
Brands I'd also recommend: Kamik

A waste of money. I've only been wearing them for 4 weeks and I now have to buy a different pair of boots. They are not waterproof and leaked in the toe area of both boots right from the start. I can only imagine that would get worse. They sat in their box unused for 1 year but that shouldn't make a difference. I hiked in them 3-5 miles a day 7 days a week for the past 4 weeks and as they broke in the large shoelace eye's/reinforced area on the left boot started digging into my ankle and the side of my leg to point that I experienced serious pain. This peaked while I was still a mile hike away from my destination and I had to walk back in pretty serious pain during icy conditions with temps at 15 degrees. Not fun and a huge slap in the face considering they also leak. In addition, the ankle strap is totally 100% useless as it both doesn't tighten enough to do any kind of stabilization and it comes undone after each hike to the point that you have to actually stop and take a minute to rethread the buckle just so it doesn't interfere with your pants leg. I am very grateful to Zappos for all their amazing service but I really wish I could get my money back on these ones.
