Smartwool socks are the absolute best and worth every penny. I would not run in anything else. They keep your feet dry and comfortable no matter what the weather is. They are very well made and very durable.

Just great - I work 12-hour shifts on my feet in an industrial environment. I have been using SmartWool exclusively for years. They don't get soggy, sag or twist. I don't get blisters due to wrinkles. They don't lose their loft until they have been washed repeatedly. Then I replace them with new pairs. The models, like this one, with a bit of tailoring hold up best through a long shift. Having small, medium and large sizes for women really helps. I highly recommend them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ryka cross trainers for women, plenty of support.

I recently decided to try running, and a friend who is an experienced runner recommended these when I asked him what gear I needed. These are worth the cost. They are soft, comfortable, breathable, and they wash well too. I don't think I'll ever want to wear cotton socks to work out in ever again. In fact, I think I'll be wearing these even when I'm not working out.

I had to sign right on to review these fantastic SmartWool running socks. I bought them for walking in running shoes, which I do a lot of, so runners may want to look for another review. I have always been partial to SmartWool, but I have found over the years not every SmartWool sock is as good as another. These are without a doubt as good as their very best socks. If you have unhappy feet, prone to callouses and blistering, I highly recommend these. They wick well, are very well padded in the arch area, and are really cute to boot. They may seem pricey, but SmartWool socks last twice as long and regular socks, and they are among the only socks my toes do not poke a hole in. Eventually, I will wear the soles out, but that normally takes a year or more of hard wear. Bravo, SmartWool, and Bravo, Zappos, for your amazing customer service. My order arrived in under 24 hours!
Brands I'd also recommend: For socks, nothing I've found beats Smartwool.
