Perfect school shoe for my 6 year old! These are a very solid shoe, very comfortable, and with the bungee laces, they are easy to put on when you're rushing out the door to take the kids to school! Love that they are athletic, yet dressy! Seems like a lot of money for a kids shoe but when it’s their primary shoe everyday, it’s worth it!

I love all Keen shoes for myself and my kids. They are very comfortable and last forever. I bought these in size 12 for my five year old who isn't quite ready for lace up shoes yet. They're easy for him to get on and go with nearly all of his clothes. Perfect.

Super cool shoe for preschool. My 3 year old loves his school shoes and can put them on himself. I have even sent them through the washing machine after they were worn for stomping in the mud, and they came out fine. Only wish they were waterproof.

I love them! My 3-year-old can put them on by himself. I bought a size up (guilty) so that they would last all winter -- and they work great -- run, play, etc., without tripping! It's so easy to order from Zappos -- and they arrive so quick!

We needed shoes that looked a touch less like a sneaker and still had a nice wide space for my 4½ year old's foot. These are great. He felt he could go super fast in these shoes, and yet I know they fit well and we can get away with them for dressier events with cords or khaki pants. Hooray for a happy medium. We are a Keen loving family, with at least seven pair currently in rotated use. When it came time for our little boy to move on to big boy shoes we knew which name to trust. And the Austin design is our favorite. It goes with everything from running in the mud to family pictures (after a quick run through the washing machine). This is his second pair, and as long as they keep making this style (fingers crossed) we will be back when he sizes up. Today was the first day my child wore these shoes. When he put them on this morning, he said they felt good. I'm really not concerned about the durability because this is his second pair and he still has the 1st pair. The 1st pair has a few stains, but no holes or rips. These shoes are not the cutest, but if your child is really hard on shoes these are the shoes to get.

This shoe is perfect for our 3 ½ year old son. He can put them on himself. They are super sturdy. He has very wide feet, so Keens are the only cool-looking shoes we like for him. They will be great with jeans, but it's surprising how cute they are with his white socks and shorts. His previous shoe was the Coronado sneaker. It was cute, but not as sturdy or durable.

My son wore these as his school uniform shoes in his Pre-K class. That means he wore them just about every day between August and May. They wore wonderfully and he could run and play in them, water resistant, and still looked nice until the last day. And he is not nice to shoes. The only reason I'm buying a new pair is because he grew out of them. These are the best shoes!

These are really nice looking shoes. The pic makes them look like hiking boots, but they look nice enough to be dress-casual and look great with khakis, cords, and jeans. They fit well and are true to size. They are supposed to fit wide feet, but my son has narrow feet and they still fit well. The heel is normal to narrow so there is no slippage despite a wide forefoot area. There is a lot of room in the toe box (forefoot area) which is great because my son tends to get ingrown toe nails. He has had no problems recently with this. The shoes also hold up well after getting wet, but I did spray them first. I will definitely purchase this brand again.

I've purchased several pairs of Keens for myself in the past. As soon as he put these on his feet, my son no longer felt sad they don't light up or have characters on them. He ran around the house, yelling, "They are so comfy! You made a good choice, mama!" They are easy for him to get on and they fit very well and a much better choice than the cheap awful Spiderman shoes he'd talked me into previously, only to have them stretch out so loose on his feet he could barely walk.

I bought these shoes for my six year old son who wears out a typical pair of tennis shoes in about six weeks. He wears the same size in these shoes as he does in his Keen's sandals, and so far they are holding up very well. We have had them for about a month. He finds them very comfortable and wants to wear them every day. I have been very pleased with the purchase - well worth the money.

My 4 year-old son loves these shoes. He has a wide foot and they fit perfectly. He especially likes the "laces" that make him feel like he's wearing big boy shoes (they are just for looks - they don't actually tie). The velcro strap is great and they're easy for him to get on and take off by himself. He has a size 12 and I plan to get him the next size up.
