Love these. They are hip, comfortable, and look fantastic with pants. Can't walk for too many hours in them but definitely good to go for a full day.

These shoes are very comfortable. The cushioned footbed is great. Even though the heel is somewhat high, your foot stays comfortable because of that cushioning. They're really attractive. They look like boots when worn with jeans. The fit is true to size. They may be a tad bit narrower than some other shoes but they're still totally comfortable. One thing you notice is how well made they are which probably contributes to them being heavy. If you want a lightweight shoe, these are not for you. Overall I love them. I think they will last forever.

Fabulous fit and comfort - this is the one shoe that I immediately grab to wear with a short skirt or jeans. Incredibly comfortable for long durations of wear. Love the feeling of being three inches taller without the strain on my back or foot arch. Definitely purchasing another pair.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Love my new Fryes! They look amazing with jeans. I also have the Frye Charlotte ring clog, which I love, but are not the most comfortable. These blow them out of the water. They were immediately comfortable, requiring no breaking in. And of course, the Frye workmanship is just beautiful.

Bought these and liked the style and Frye quality then looked and they're made in China. What happened to Frye being made in the USA? A little disappointed with that. Haven't decided if I'm keeping them.......

I normally don't spend this much on shoes, but I ordered these because Frye advertises that their shoes are made in USA. However, I'm returning them because they are not made in USA. They are cute & comfortable, but not as comfortable as my Clarks. I ordered a half size smaller than normal & they fit well. A little heavier than most shoes.
