Everything is perfect about this; however, if you do any exercises on your back, like sit ups, the zipper pocket digs in the back a little.

I use these shorts at the gym (I'm not a runner) but they are great for leg workouts because they fall just above the knees and they're fairly lightweight. There are small pockets large enough to hold keys or a credit card, which is nice. One is zippered.

I bought these as a pair of lighter-weight shorts that I could wear for yoga and workouts in the warmer weather. They fit well; they look good. I'm short, so the shorter inseam in running-style shorts makes my legs look longer.

My husband absolutely loves these shorts. He is an avid runner and has tried a lot of shorts, and says these are the best he has ever worn. Wish they were available in more colors!

If you are tired of shopping for running shorts and everything you are finding extends below the knee, then these are the shorts for you. They are lightweight, fit well, and are VERY comfortable. The five pockets are sewn around the waistband from the sides around the back. The one in the middle of your back is zippered for keys , and the others are open top, suitable for the (unused) dog poop bag or energy bar. Thank you ASICS and Zappos,I had about given up.

Miss the Asics 2-1 short. These shorts are ok. Comfortable for running but I haven't done any long runs in them. Negatives: no pockets in the front like the 2-1 shorts. Have pockets in the back of short which I find not as useful. Ok shorts.
