Love these shoes! I tried saving some money after wearing Etnies all through high school and college but after two awful pairs of shoes I "paid less" for I decided to go back to the tried-and-true. My feet have never felt better. I got the turquoise color; while they are slightly greener than the photo on the site indicates I still think the combination of colors is great. Shipping was insanely fast. Etnies has won a fan back and Zappos will be the people I get them from.

These shoes are a great choice if you need a pair that holds up well for the abusiveness of skateboarding. The strip of leather on the side keeps the grip tape from tearing through the soft canvas, but the only problem is that the grip on the bottom wears out too fast.

Etnies RVM - I'll start off with the negatives of the shoes; the only complaints I have is that the heel area of the sole wore out relatively quick, but I drag my feet. And also, this gray, rubbery stuff keeps coming out near the heel of the shoe on the inside. Other than that though, these shoes are very comfortable and flexible. The grip is also great! Not my favorite, but I'm glad I got them.

Gray goes with anything. These Etnies go well with my jeans which is pretty much all I wear. Etnies makes a solid shoe. I really only wear skate shoes and these ones are fantastic. I've had one pair for over 5 years and still wear them. Etnies makes the best skate shoes I've ever worn.

Looks good, but aren't everything. I bought these shoes same day in Lime Green and black. I went skating in them right away. Like any shoe I expected wear and tear, but not like this. Within the first 3 hours of skating the white rim on the bottom of my shoe was pretty much torn from my toe to my outer foot on my left foot and inner on my right. These shoes look great and they feel great while skating. The only problem is I've already had to apply shoe goo to them. The shoe goo helps, but it won't be long till I get new shoes as these will surely be done within about 4 months. Overall rating is a 3 because I love the way they look and feel, but they just didn't live up to my expectations. By the way, the suede is nice and if you're a skater, I'd recommend not skating in these if you want to keep these clean.
Brands I'd also recommend: Any type of Van or audio skate shoe should last you awhile.

etnies RVM black/blue/white - The shoe looks great and is pretty comfortable. Only problem I had was that they felt so heavy on my feet, I felt like I had weights on them! They're super grippy, but seem to wear down fast. Didn't seem to tear very easily. Overall, pretty good shoe, but I've seen better. But if you're looking for etnies shoes, these are the way to go.
Brands I'd also recommend: Any 'eS, Lakai, Emerica, or Supra shoes

Zappos rocks! I haven't ordered from them often enough, but every experience I have had has been more than positive. The first time I ordered shoes from my grandson for Christmas last year. They arrived in plenty of time, but they didn't fit (not Zappos fault), so I called them on a Saturday and they emailed me a return label and shipped out the next size up that day! I had them shipped to my daughter's address in Austin and she had them on Monday! Then on Monday I took the first pair to UPS and sent them back. All this was at no cost to me whatsoever. This year I ordered again and the shoes fit, but they were here overnight! And I didn't have to pay for shipping at all! I can't say enough good things about Zappos and their customer service. They rate A+ and then some.

These shoes are overall okay. When I first got these shoes they felt tight on my feel and felt really stiff. After I had worn them to school for about a week they broke in and felt much better. This is a good shoe to skate in (even though it is a bit heavy). The only major problem I have had with this shoe is that it tends to bottom out over time, and lose the grip on the bottom really fast.

The G2 in these shoes makes \'em the most comfortable shoes that have ever been on my feet. If you\'re lookin\' for comfort, get them! Like pillows on your feet...haven\'t really skated them because I sorta dropped skating so I don\'t know how they perform on that portion of things, but walking around makes them a must have.

As usual, Zappos comes through with yet another great shoe! My son loves these and enjoys wearing them. I love Zappos. 2 of my boys have large feet, size 14 and 15. I cannot find shoes in those sizes in any of the retail stores on a regular basis so I only order from Zappos now. Free shipping both ways, and great sales keep my boys happy and make my check book smile!
