First time I ordered shoes from Zappos and I am very happy with my purchase. These Bass shoes are larger than marked. I normally wear a size 11 wide. After reading other reviews here, I ordered a size 10 3E wide and they fit me well.

Attractive but comfortable, Zappos got them to me the next day as a bonus (no extra shipping charges). No muss, no fuss! A great shoe (you can't beat Bass), a great shoe company to order from. I love Zappos!

Great shoes. I have them on as I write. They are an update of the Bass Weejuns of my youth. The leather lining is soft and feels broke in as soon as the shoes come out of the box.

Great casual shoe. Definitely a dark, chocolate brown. Fits a bit big, that is okay since I wear orthotic inserts. Very pleased.

Beautiful shoes, although slightly narrow at top half toward toes. I would size up one full size if you plan on wearing socks with these babies. That is the mistake I made in that I probably have to buy another pair to accommodate socks.

This is the second pair of Bass I'm returning. The quality of Bass has been lost. The quality of the leather is gone. I've worn Weejuns since 1959 and I'm going now to Cole-Haan. Whatever happened to Bass Weejuns? This sucks!

I loved the style of these shoes but could not find a pair that fit. I tried my usual size with Top-Siders, etc. size 9w. I then tried 8.5w, then 8.5m and still could not get them to fit. I think these are just poorly designed where the heel does not catch. No matter how many sizes I tried my foot would always slip out. I even tried the heel covers you can buy in a pharmacy and that didn't work. I just gave up on this shoe after the third pair.
