SmartWool socks are the only brand I buy now. I wear a size 13 shoe, and the one-size-fits-all generic socks in the department stores are unacceptable. I've been wearing crew socks for years. These are thinner than the SmartWool crews I've been wearing, but are extremely comfortable and fit great. I will absolutely buy these again.

Love these socks! Seriously, these are so fantastic. I just wish they came in different colors so I could wear them every day. As someone who has nasty, sweaty feet, I used to suffer through winter with feeble nylon socks or soaking-wet cotton socks. Now my suffering is over. I heart Smartwool!

These are good solid, comfortable socks. A bit pricey, but they kept my feet warm when my cotton socks didn’t. They were thinner than I expected, but still keep my feet warm which is all I cared about. And best of all, they don’t itch your feet like most wool socks. I haven’t worn them in warm weather yet, but they seem like they’d be comfortable then, as well.

The socks were thinner then I expected. They don't wear well with my shoes, but I can't returned them. I would not recommend these socks unless you really want 'thin' socks.

Not as amazing as everyone says. Mine shrunk on the first wash! Not acceptable for the premium price. Smartwool's "go ahead and dry them" campaign about their new technology is a crock. I only used low heat.

Smartwool is a fantastic material. Compared to other wool blends, it manages to be snug, yet non-restrictive, and warm, yet breathable, in a way I haven't found in other blends. This sock is probably a little too thin for very a significant amount of time in cold weather - I bought a heavier pair of Smartwool, which is warmer in the cold, yet not overly hot indoors. If you need formal summer socks for work, these are great socks.

My husband really loves these socks! They are perfect for him to wear with his suit to work. The wool keeps his feet dry when its hot or cold, and that helps keep the stink out of his shoes too! This Gray color is very close to black, just so you know. I will be buying more very soon!
