Classic, individual, unique, and expressive — adjectives fitting the completed shoes as a result of George Esquivel's vision and the over 100 detailed steps necessary to craft each pair. All Esquivel shoes are painstakingly and entirely hand made in his Southern California shop — uppers are hand cut, leathers are massaged into shape on the lasts, outsoles are cut and finished by master craftsmen. Each finished shoe bares the detailed markings and subtle imperfections of the laborious craftsmanship necessary to create each pair.

George Esquivel began honing his craft 15 years ago under the tutelage of a retired master cobbler and his creativity and love for shoes quickly blossomed from a hobby to full-time passion. His early rock and roll inspired designs soon became staples on stages across the country. George's hands bare testament to his years of personally working on each pair of shoes by hand — cutting the leather with a razor, forming the vision into actual design, and finishing by nailing and polishing the soles of each shoe. Esquivel now oversees a small team of skilled artisans, who between them have over 120 years of experience.

Esquivel's clients include some of the most demanding and discerning tastes in the world — Oscar winners, Heads of States, Grammy Nominees, members of royal families, rock royalty and world class athletes. Esquivel shoes are sold exclusively at premier retailers worldwide. But titles aside, Esquivel shoes exist solely to satisfy the customer that, regardless of profession, education or background, loves shoes.
