My 15-month old son, who has wide chubby feet, has a difficult time finding shoes. These sandals work great for him because of the ease of getting them on. They are very supportive for his little feet as well. Merrell has always been one of our favorite brands for shoes, kids and adults alike.
Brands I'd also recommend: Stride Rite, Teva

My son loves these! He can put them on himself (a big plus), and they're waterproof. The color is more neutral than I initially thought, and they go with everything. The little bit of orange makes a statement. These are the single shoe he's worn all summer, every day. Good at the beach, playground, shopping. We got Merrell's last year - they are our favorite shoe.

Love love this shoe. Great merrell quality as usual. I love Merrell's so I thought I'd try them for my son. They have a cushiony inside, and they are antimicrobial which is a plus for sweaty boys. They have great traction and arch support and the color is neutral and goes with everything. My son can run and play in them and get the nice breathability of a sandal with the traction and stability of a sneaker. They are a keeper!

These were the winner among 3 pairs of sandals I ordered for my son. They fit well, they were comfortable, and they looked great. He didn't want to take them off. The sole is rugged and has good traction. We took them to the beach and they stayed really nice-looking (although we didn't get them wet). I marked it true to size, although I feel it was slightly short (not a half size smaller). I totally understand other parents who wrote saying they already bought them in the next size. A great sandal!

I bought these sandals for my son about 2 months ago (he was 20 months old then) and they have been great. His other sandals left marks on his ankles where the straps were, but these do not at all. They have held up very well so far and he wears them everyday and is extremely active. I buy Merrell sandals for myself so I figured why not for him. A great choice.

This shoe has lasted the whole summer! I bought them for my 1 year old who has been walking in every possible environment- desert, city, countryside, even the fountain at the neighborhood park. They never gave him blisters, they dry quickly, and I felt like they gave the necessary support for a new walker.

These are great shoes. The sole is very flexible though it doesn\\\'t look like it. They dress up or down and are easy to get on. Unfortunately the velcro is an easy lock for kids to pick, so you have to watch them for falling off in the stroller, but I\\\'d buy them again in a second.

These are cute. Very flexible shoes so they seemed perfect for my 18 month old. However,my son wore them for 1 day and ended up with blisters on the arches of both feet from friction caused by some glue stickiness inside the shoe. It is probably a defect but I decided to return them in favor of a lined shoe.
