This is a lightweight, easy to pack jacket, perfect for rain. It is basically just a shell, no lining at all. If it's a cooler day, would need to layer.

I bought this jacket for my 17 year old who is 110lbs and 5'5". She loves it! It is easy to wear a sweater underneath the jacket, the pockets are well placed, and the hood stays up. Zappos service is extraordinary!

Ordered two Venture Jackets for my daughters and they love them! They are lightweight and effective against Mother Nature. One was too big and I must say the return process could not be easier! Because of the ease of return, I requested a store credit rather than trying to find the item elsewhere quicker.

Merry Christmas! Ordering from Zappos was truly a gift! I was notified that the same jacket was unavailable (after the order and payment were made) from another company. What was I to do and it was the Christmas present for my daughter! Zappos to the rescue - order, confirmation, delivery, joy all within 23 hours! Your company is wonderful! I love this jacket, it fits great over multiple layers and still looks good. I usually wear a small but bought a medium to have plenty of room for layers underneath. The velcro wrist sleeves allows for nice fit. I have this in the Black and the White. Love both.

I am in love with this jacket! I received it for my birthday in June and have worn it at least once a week since. It is perfect for the north west. I couldn't ask for more! The rain resistance is phenomenal, and although it's a little noisy I really could care less. I have the T Black cherry purple and I think I may have to ask for red for Christmas. This jacket is not warm, but that's not what it's designed for. If you're looking for the perfect coat, I suggest layering this over the North Face Windwall. I have it in the same color and I'm definitely not going cold this year! Thanks for great service as always, too -- got this 2 days after I ordered!

I love the light feel of this coat and the supreme "water-proofiness" it comes along with. My only complaint is that it gets dirty (white) quite easily and I miss it when it is in the laundry. Love it overall, thanks Zappos!

Because these are fitted, they run very small. If you plan to wear a sweater or sweaters under, you'll need to go one or two sizes up. The jacket is great for sailing. The quality is awesome. Buy two!

I bought my jacket specifically for a trip to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada. The jacket was everything I wanted, lightweight, comfortable, easy to carry, and wearable over a sweatshirt. I recommend it.
