Nostalgia! This boot reminded me of another brand of boot that I passed on, so when I saw this boot, I knew I had to have it! I thought the entire wedge was rubber, which excited me, (love rubber wedges) but upon closer inspection of the picture, I saw the wedge heel was some other type of material that I can live with and that looks like it may be easy to clean. The sole, however, is rubber. This boot is cute and functional. Very easy to walk in, though the wedge is high! The wedge provides the support. You don't feel like you're about to tip over or keel over. Inside, is a textile lining that is very cozy. If it isn't too cold, you can go without socks. The lining doesn't interfere with the fit of the boot. I ordered both the black and the tan. The tan will probably require the most maintenance, as the color is light, but that's what the shoe repair is for. The tassels are for decoration and don't adjust the width of the boot in any way. You can easily stuff your jeans inside. These boots also look great if you're wearing a skirt or dress. I love these boots! They will get a lot of wear. Nice quality and I'd say worth the price.
