They fit my calves! I have been searching for a tall pair of black leather boots that fit my 14" calves. The difficulty was the circumference measurement on the site was for a 7 (usually) and got bigger for successively larger sizes. So, if the circumference of a boot was 13", I couldn't really be sure that a boot in my size (9) would be 14" around. Also, even if I got lucky and could zip a boot up over the widest part of my calf, there would almost always be a ridiculous gapping in the top of the boot. These, however, zip up over my calf (but its snug) and DON'T gap too much at the top. I even wore them with jeans tucked in and they ACTUALLY fit. Amazing. I think I could've gotten an 8.5, because my heel slips out a little when I walk, but I just put in an insert and wear thicker socks and its fine. I'm on my feet all day at work, and these were still comfortable. Got compliments, too. Great boots, reasonable price, fit a hard to fit leg. Woo hooo!

Very lovely boot, but I returned them. I ordered them a half size smaller as suggested and they ended up being too small. They were also really tight at the calf and I have pretty average sized calves.

Stunning boots - Lovely boots! They're surprisingly lightweight. Probably unsuitable for cold weather, but perfect for fall and spring days. The leather is soft and supple (though I worry about scuffs), and the rubber heel will likely wear better than the wood or leather soles you find on most boots. As for the fit: it's strange. I bought my usual size 6. It seems that the shoe is "longer" than its normal size, but not wider. When I first put it on, my toes were further back than they should have been, and so it pinched my feet. However, when I added heel liners, it also pushed my foot forward, and the fit works much better. I'd say order your normal size, but consider fiddling with the fit.

Style @ comfort - Excellent boots. Soft and supple leather, minimum time for break in, feels like a second skin. But it runs big. You have to order 1/2 size smaller that you usually wear. Absolutely love 2 tone, and I'm a professional horse rider.
