I wanted something for my upcoming trip to Europe that was good for walking but weren't tennis shoes. I wanted them to look nicer. I saw these and thought, "This looks like what I need!" I really like them. So far they are very comfortable, but I read in another review that they ran big, and I found that to be true. I ordered my size, but then exchanged them for a half size down. It depends on how you like things to fit. I wanted them snug so the heel wouldn't rub. The half size down fits great with light socks, which is what I wear. They look really nice, seem to have pretty good arch support, and are nice and flexible due to the elastic on the top. I will update after my trip to report how they did in the long haul.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. They are light, yet supportive! I have a high arch, and these have enough support that I feel like I am walking on air!

My shoes arrived quickly. I took them out of the box and immediately put them on. Then...I never took them off! They fit will and were comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and my foot hurts all the time. The shape of the sole is perfect for my particular problem. I love these shoes!

Love these shoes, have had 3 pairs over the years. One pair wore out with time, one I accidentally destroyed in the dryer, and the third I wear almost daily. Super comfortable, easy to slip on and off. I get compliments on them more than any other shoe.

My AK Ultima shoes served me very well during my last trip to visit gardens in Paris and London! I especially appreciated the shoes during flying when my feet tend to swell up a bit. These shoes were easy to slip on and off and the zipper was convenient to loosen the shoes during flight. My shoes never squeaked as some have mentioned. They do feel a tiny bit roomy, but I liked having the extra roomy feeling when I did a lot of city walking. A trouser sock would work well with these shoes. I had packed a pair of dress shoes, which I never wore because I felt perfectly dressed up in the Ultimas that were more comfortable. For more extensive walking, if you have feet problems as I do, I would recommend adding a flexible orthodic or a pair of Dr. Scholl's arch supports. There is plenty of room to do so. For the next trip I'm only taking two pairs of shoes: the Black AK Ultimas and a pair of Avias with extra cushioning. I really loved the Ultimas!

I love these shoes. I recently traveled to Italy for two weeks. I was on my feet for 12-15 hours/day on hard surfaces. These shoes were light, had good padding on the footbed and have a stretchy insert on the top surrounding the zipper that was great to accommodate swollen feet. Lastly, the shoes looked great with pants and skirts. I added a foot insert and there was plenty of space. I am a 9.5 and felt this shoe ran a bit big, but it worked out well to add an insert for extra cushioning and wear cushioned hiking socks. I highly recommend them.

I bought these because I have another pair of Anne Klein shoes that I love and that feel really good on my feet! I'm pregnant, so I need to wear comfortable shoes at the office, but also want to look stylish and work-appropriate. These are great because they give the comfort of a sneaker, the support of an athletic shoe, and have a sophisticated look that, when paired with black slacks and a nice blouse/jacket for the office, will not get me a sideways glance in my office, which tends to be on the formal side! The only thing I didn't like at first was that the zipper (which is located centrally on the top of the shoe, where laces would normally be) seemed to press into the top of my foot a bit at the end of the day, but I attribute that more to natural swelling of my feet due to pregnancy than to the shoe itself, so I said they felt true to size. They are very comfortable to wear and to walk in, and have great support. I definitely recommend these!

Nice design, very comfortable, no rubbing spots. I figured a slim shoe like this to be a no-sock style but I'd recommend going down a half size if you want to wear these without socks.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I own. I like my shoes without excessive padding and "support," because I believe in the Mother Nature's design of my natural foot. Also, I normally wear a size 8, but in these shoes, I wear a 7.5.

Nice looking and comfortable. Wear a size 10, but 9.5 fit just fine. Zipper pull makes noise, but I'm probably the only one who notices.

Cute and comfy shoes! I bought a pair last year and they are still my "go to" shoes for walking or when it's too cold for flats. They are also light and pack very well. Just wish they came in more colors. Love them!
