The Lakai Manchesters are supra cool looking but there is no comfort and I skated in these for the first time and the laces ripped and there falling apart but if you don't skate these are perfect for you!

These shoes don't have too much padding in my opinion, but overall they are a really good skate shoe. Lots of grip but not too much. This is pretty much the only pair of Lakai?s that anybody skates where I live. I'd recommend them to anybody.

These shoes were very stylish. I skate, so i decided to try these shoes out, and the rubber in the toe cap almost wore off the first time i skated them. I decided just to keep them as my school shoes. So, the only problem was them ripping too fast.. besides that. they're great: Comfy, stylish, and good board feel.

Zappos is the bomb. Not only do we order from them all the time and they are super fast and courteous, but we had to exchange a size one time and they were so unbelievably fast and helpful it was amazing. My son has a large foot size and we started ordering from them because of their selection, but now it very convenient. Practically next day service. Love Zappos

I bought these for my 14 year old son who is a skater. He loves them! That says a lot coming from a teenager. So kudos to Zappos!!

These shoes are slick looking and extremely comfortable in my opinion. I bought a pair in royal blue and liked them so much that I bought another pair (tan/white/black). The second pair wasn?t quite as comfortable which is kinda strange, but I guess all shoes fit differently, even when it?s the same shoe. I don?t skateboard much anymore (haven?t for a few years now), but I still wear the shoes (on account my feet got used to ?em) so I can?t attest to the durability of the shoes. I?ve had them for a month or two and I?ve had no issues or problems. The mouth of the shoe (around the ankle) is super cushiony and the over-stuffed tongue really feels great on the feet. I wear them all day and have no complaints.

Awesome shoes. I have had tons of comments, both from skaters and from people who have no idea who Lakai are. I bought two pairs: bright orange and pink. The pink is a good rich jewel color. The orange is a wonderful glowing orange without being hunter orange. I ladder laced and tucked in: no problems with too short laces. I am a woman?s 8.5 to 9 and narrow. I ordered the 6.5, which is my usual size and found it was too short. I put it up against a pair of 6.5 Chuck Taylor?s I have and it was significantly shorter than the Converse shoe. So, I went up to a 7 and voila, perfection.

My friend suggested this brand/style to me and I had to see for myselfI actually have this shoe in the red w/ black tongue and the mo knows Black. I absolutely love this shoe, it's durable for skating, both pairs are still in good shape, and the laces aren't in the 'flip' zone so it is a little more difficult for them to rip, which saves me from bringing extra laces when I go skate. The shoe is also very light and not bulky like some shoes, which is a relief because bulky shoes are just annoying. Not only do I wear them for skating, I also wear them for everyday, there are a wide variety of color choices, which is great, so you can match with shirts or whatever. They are also very comfortable, I work 8 hour shifts in them and my feet do not complain. Overall this shoe is great for both skating and casual. Also they fit a little smaller, I usually buy my skate shoes in 10, and these fit great at the 9.5 size.

These are one of the best shoes I have got. They are very comfortable and look great. These shoes also come with white laces.

I learned about these from someone at my local skate park, who recommended them so I wanted to try them out. I wanted to buy these at my local skate shop to support them, but they didn't carry Lakai. Zappos is a good online option so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they carried the Manchester. The shoe fits well, has great board feel, and good arch support. It's not big and bulky, like some skate shoes. This is a no-nonsense skate shoe with good style. I wear them for skating, and as my everyday shoe. There is only thing I would change: the laces are kind of short so you can't lace them loosely and double-knot them, like most people do with skate shoes. But it's not a big problem: these shoes probably perform better properly laced up anyways.

Shoes look & feel great to my son, and were shipped in less than 24 hours! Zappos rocks!

This is a perfect shoe. It is long lasting and comfortable. It is a little bit low, so not much ankle protection. Otherwise, the shoe is great. It takes about 3 days to break in the shoe. I would rate this shoe about 8 stars out of 10 just because of the low ankle. Don't let that stop you from getting a pair!

When I first got these shoes I thought, These shoes are really stylish. They have great board feel. I cant really say if they are good or bad because I have only skated them a few times. But for first impressions, they're great shoes. Zappos was great with the shipping, it only took 2 days to arrive. Thank you!

Rips, I have had these shoes for about two weeks and have not skated in them at all. They are horrible. I have gotten small rips in the bottom. I don't recommend.

This is my all time favorite shoes, I have gotten four pairs already, all black ones from Zappos. It is like stepping in clouds except that it feels sturdy. Skating wise, it is great. It is not too thick like Circas or Nike SB and not too thin like Vans' Chukka Low. It provides great heel protection. It doe snot last very long if you skate everyday, around one to one and a half months. But it is cheap, and worth it!

Great shoe. Footbraking will rub through the sole quick if you longboard. Grippy, good looking, but they get really weird looking when they are broken in.

This shoe is fantastic! I skate everyday for about 6 hours. The shoe kept in place for about 3 weeks then the suede started to wear down. I still have them; this is the fourth week and plan to keep them for a little while more. Also the side of the shoe was the first to start ripping, so I hope they make a leather pair. So anyone who has good taste in shoes and wants to skate like crazy GET THIS SHOE!

This shoe looks amazing, feels great, and helped me learn new tricks...but it rips extremely easily so if you got the money to keep buying this shoe then get it; if you don't I would recommend Lucas Puig shoes.

Amazing Shoe!!!! You can start skating in these right when you get them, no need to break them in. These stayed intact for about 2 or 3 months and didn't look worn out much. They've got great arch support and unless you have really gargantuan feet, these are nice (for the narrow-footed people). And, they look cool, so what's not to love?!

These were quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever set my foot in. They felt broken in right when I got them. However, after skating for about a month, the front part started to peel off (the white part). But that was easily fixed. They're cool style-wise, skating-wise, and comfort-wise. I highly recommend these for the amateur skater to pro.
