I'll start with saying that I ordered 6 different pairs of expensive boots trying to find the perfect boot. I have a narrow, flat (no arches) size 10 (sometimes 10.5), foot. I was looking for something tall, warm, with arch support and ankle support and that was waterproof or waterproof-able. I did not find a perfect boot, but this boot was pretty close. Based on other reviews I ordered the 10.5. So I want to note that if you have a narrow foot you do not need to order up, the 10.5 was a little too long. The arch support was fair (none of the boots had great arch support) so I bought a full foot insert, put it under the removable footbed liner, and that took care of the extra room and arch issue. (I could not have the extra insole in if I had bought the 10.) Otherwise I love these boots. I've been wearing them with leggings and skirts and they have been great. I've climbed the high snow piles, splashed through slush and walked for ages. They are less clunky then Uggs and much more supportive for trekking about NYC. When you first try them on they don't bend well at the ankle, but that stiffness relaxed after a week of wear (I almost sent them back but I am so glad I kept them). In other words, I love these boots.

Let me start by saying I love zappos.com! I always have the best experience with zappos and I always get my shoes 2 days after they are ordered even if we order on a Sunday evening. I now have my husband hooked on zappos.com also. now as for my Patagonia boots, they were a great purchase. I bought them to wear to Idaho in the snow and they were everything they promised. they kept my feet very warm and very dry and they look pretty darn good too. I wore them on the plane so I would not have 2 pack them. coming home our flight was delayed then turned around mid air in canceled. I had them on for hours and hours and my feet never hurt!

I absolutely love my boots. I was skeptical at first because I had never purchased any boots other than Uggs but I was ready for some more durable and yet fashionable shoes. These shoes rock. They are so comfortable and waterproof. And the soles have more tread than other boots but it isn't bulky. I ordered a size 8 which is around the size I normally wear. They were tight the first few times I slipped them on because they don't have a zipper but after that, they molded perfectly. They are very warm. I am so happy to be buying from Patagonia, a company dedicated to the planet and uses pig skin instead of mutated sheep. I really enjoy supporting such a good company.

I can't believe this boot has nothing but 5-star ratings so far! Am I the only one it the world it doesn't fit? Pros: Nice styling, warm, appears to be quality construction, good traction, waterproof Cons: Very stif. I had a hard time getting my foot in past the curve - and there's no zipper to make it easier; a little tight in the calf so it would be hard to tuck my pants in; a little on the narrow side, especially with my high arches, not as much footbed padding as other boots I tried. Bottom line: probably a great boot if it fits you properly!

About Patagonia
Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

I live in Chicago and my sister got these boots for me (I complained that I need some waterproof boots). For my birthday she gave me these boots. I first put them on, I noticed that my feet were warm. To I put the boots to the test during a snow storm...unbelievable my feet were Dry and warm during my commute home. Thank you Patagonia for making such a weather resistant boot!

I ordered these and got these today! I am a size 8 with average calf and ankle size and they slipped on just right! Very comfy and cute. I wanted a warm, fashionable winter boot that wasn't a pair of Uggs! Good God, enough with the Uggs! I totally dig these and like the Espresso color!

I can not say enough good things about these boots. I normally have very cold feet and my feet actually sweat in these. They are true to size, have very nice arch support and are very stylish. I have receieved more compliments on these than any other boot I have ever owned. Great product and great service from this company. Would definitely order again.

Bought these for a winter trip to France, and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I figured they'd be utilitarian, though probably somewhat uncomfortable - but no, indeed not, they couldn't have fit better or been more cozy. They are a little tight to get on, but once you're foot's in, they fit like a glove. They're perfect with light or medium-weight Smartwool-type socks. We walked for several miles each day, and the boots were perfectly comfortable, although they hadn't been broken in at all before the trip. Last, but not least, they're plenty chic, and not terribly heavy. Definitely a winner in all regards.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable, warm, adorable, and pretty much everything you want in this kind of shoe. I bought these for a trip to NYC (first time there, when I'd be doing a lot of walking). I tried loads of other boots, including Uggs, and these were the most comfortable and supportive (I have flat feet). I wore them around the house for a couple of weeks to be sure they didn't have any break-in spots (they didn't). Then, I wore them for a week straight, every day, walking the entire city in very cold and sometimes wet weather and with every outfit. Not a single problem. I could just forget about my feet (which are almost always cold, sore, etc.). I even wore them to a concert and jumped/danced around for hours and put them right back on the next morning. This boot is beyond 5 stars. It's a shame I live in FL, or I'd be wearing them all the time! Other reviewers had problems with size and ankle narrowness. I tried a couple of sizes and ended up a half size smaller than usual (you won't need thick socks), and I had no problems getting them on and maybe those folks aren't used to pull-on boots? You can't go wrong with these.

How much do I love these boots? I just ordered another pair in black! I usually wear a 7-7.5, and I ordered the 7.5, and they fit perfectly. I don't plan to wear super heavy socks in them... just regular ones. What do I love about this boot? They are light. They are warm without being too warm. They aren't too tall and aren't too short. They have a shape that I think looks pretty cute with skirts for commuting. I think the brown will be cute for jeans on the weekend. I tried them tucked in, adorable. I ordered the black for during the week for the commute and in case I just accidentally forget to change into my "office" shoes. As soon as the black arrive I will be 100% ready for the snow! Bring it!

Awesome boots! I bought these regular size for me, 7.5, and decided to ignored the basic rule of buying boots half size larger after reading the reviews. They fit me perfectly. I am yet to test them on the warmth and waterproofness because I lived in Puerto Rico and will only used them for my annual ski trip. However, even though is super hot down here I still tried them on for a bit around the house and they are super comfortable (and hot!). I bought them in brown, thought about the red ones, but then changed my mind with the dirty snow and all, and thinking it would look like I was wearing bricks. Best decision. Still super pretty. They are not bulky at all. I will definitely wear them under and over jeans. I was worry about the mid calve width, b/c my mid-calve measures 14 and a quarter, but the boot feels just fine. I do not wear wool socks though. Finally, Zappos' shipping is amazing!

The search is over! This is the the boot that other boots aspire to be. I've looked forever. Okay, since last fall for the boots to wear in really messy or snowy weather, but they had to be cute as well as functional. Finally they have arrived and wouldn't you know it: it's sunny and unseasonably warm today. Rats! At least I'm ready when the first snowflake falls. The fit is true to size, kind of stiff at first as others have mentioned. There's room for good, warm socks. It looks like these will last forever, particularly in Oklahoma. We don't have snowy, cold weather all winter, but when we do have it, it's a mess.

Love them! They are super-warm and seem to fare very well in wet snow and rain, too. They can be a little stiff to get on and off, especially if they've been sitting in a cold room, but it doesn't bother me at all. They're cute, but not super-stylish. That's okay - I chose function over form for this winter.

The Patagonia Lugano Waterproof boot is comfortable, stylish, and easy to walk in. I absolutely love these boots! They are narrow at the ankle, so a bit difficult to get your foot into the first time, but once it's on, the boots are super comfortable and supportive. Not clunky feeling at all (unlike UGGs). They feel like you're wearing shoes, not boots. And so cute, too!

Awesome. I think the fit runs a little big, but that's ok. I'm sure once it hits 30 degrees I'll be grateful for the extra room for heavy-duty socks! I think the calf is a bit wide, but that could just be my leg. In terms of what its meant to do: it's perfect. My feet (which are cold even in hot weather) are always toasty warm and dry !!

I have had these boots for the past two winters and they are starting to look well loved, so I am considering buying them again! I have hiked trails in it, city streets, snow, slush, ice, and rain, and it has performed perfectly. My feet have a tendency to run cold, and I still have no complaints about these boots. I have pretty small ankles and calves and have plenty of room to tuck my jeans in to them.
