These sandals are adjustable, great fit, lightweight, and cuter than they look online. They look really sporty online but are much more versatile! I wore these shoes for a solid month around the Mediterranean. I searched for 2 months, knowing the wrong shoes could ruin the trip of a lifetime. I hiked for days in Cinque Terra, Venice, Rome, Istanbul, Jerusalem, pyramids of Giza. These were wonderful!

Zappos certainly knows what good service means! I ordered two pairs of San Remo sandals and the staff made the purchase trouble free and a pleasant experience. One pair were not quite the color I thought they would be and Zappos organized the return of them immediately and I had the new pair within days. I could not speak more highly of the staff and service I received. I will certainly use Zappos again!

A real find! The first sandals that actually feel cushiony and a little supportive and don't rub anywhere and don't cut anywhere. Not to mention they are VERY CUTE. I would buy more of these in a heartbeat. Fits very well.

Great sandal with straight-out-of-the-box comfort. Adjustable straps everywhere so you can get the perfect fit. Footbed is soft suede material so feet don't sweat and get slick like some harder, rubber footbed sandals. They're light and airy, yet give me great protection when walking around different terrains. Great quality sandal for the price, nice width with moderate arch support; not too much, not too flat. I like them so well I have them in two colors.

Great shoes. I have two pair. Even narrow feet can make these work. Good support even if one has arch considerations. Will probably get another pair next year.

I wear size 8.5, but have ordered size down and they are ideal. They were made for my feet. It is not easy to order online and have the shoes fit so perfectly. I walk on rocks, stones, no problem. The sandals are very feminine as well, not too bulky, they are sporty, but delicate. Small suprising details add to their beauty. They are the absolutely perfect pair of sandals. These sandals are perfect! They are adjustable in three ways, lightweight, and so comfortable. They make you want to run and jump, which is pretty good for a 67 year old. The color selection is quite large, but I love the bone/off-white color. It goes with everything but a formal. Zappos' service in getting another size to me when the first pair sent was too big was incredibly fast. All was done in 3 days! My friends love them too, and one has already purchased the same exact shoe. Great decision, and well worth the money they cost. I'm taking them on my cruise in 4 days.

I bought the Merrell San Remo sandals for use on a 10 day trip to Europe. I also bought 2 other pairs of walking sandals (one Clarks & the other Born brand) for my trip because I'd heard alternating shoes helps prevent footache. As it turns out, the Merrells stayed on my feet for the entire duration of the trip. Not once did I experience any discomfort, blister, or footache with these sandals. They were so comfortable and my feet were in such great shape (by comparison to my poor travelmates) that I decided not to try alternating with the other shoes because I didn't want to risk it. I chose these sandals because I wanted something that provided the necessary support but could be worn with skirts and casual dresses without looking ridiculous. Although I had read the rave reviews about these online, I'll admit my expectations weren't too high because I believed it was unrealistic to think there could be such drastic differences from one sandal to the next. Boy, was I wrong; these sandals are like no other I've ever tried. Everyone is different so they may not work for some, but they are worth twice their weight in gold for me. Speaking of value, I know the price seems steep at first for a pair of sandals but after spending so much money on a vacation I think this is a small price to pay to ensure comfort and enjoyment. Yes, you risk wasting quite a bit on sandals that might not work for you, but it's better than the risk of ruining your vacation with pain and discomfort. Finally, I want to mention that I used these sandals in combination with Footglide (by Bodyglide) which is an anti-chafing/blistering product sold at athletic stores. A similar product made by BandAid which can be found at Walmart works equally well. It looks like a little deodorant stick and should be in the footcare aisle by the insoles. I just applied it on my feet every morning before slipping into my Merrells for extra protection. I can't say for sure whether it was the Merrells alone or if the anti-chafing product helped to save my feet, but I will use both again on my next vacation just to be safe.
