Ultimates or Ultras? In spite of reading a ton of reviews, I could not decide between the two, so I ordered them both. I wear 8 1/2 and 9s normally and ordered the 7s in both. That was the right size for me in both styles. I'm keeping the Ultimates and returning the Ultras, and it was an easy decision. In the Ultras my heel slid around, the boots looked...fatter, and they sort of slouched. But the Ultimates fit perfectly (I don't have narrow feet and the Ultimates felt wider) although a bit tight over the top of the foot at the very beginning, stood tall and definitely look slimmer. According to the Ugg Australia rep, the Ultimates have better arch support and a better sole. And I totally agree. Although, I wish for more arch support (I have high arches and may buy Ugg insolses), I'm completely satisfied. For me, it was a clear choice. I hope this helps someone with their decision!

So sad..I was looking for a Ugg like boot with replaceable arch support when I learned about these. But the removable foot bed proved to noticeable...and not in a good way. on the edges in the footbed area. I happened to have an Ugg replacement insole. That helped...but golly seems silly to put a replacement in a new pricey shoe. Admittedly the replacement version is probably going to be the one that you can get when you are ready to add a fresh insole down the road. I went with the Merrell Encore Snow and its waterproof and all sheep fuzzy & still with replaceable insole.

Got these today and I love them! Not my daughter's Uggs and that was the look I was going for. If you want the adult look with the same comfort, these are a must buy!

Love this boot - gives warmth, good grip in slippery conditions. Have also worn them indoors all day at work without overheating. Suede is not my first choice in slush, but they seem to tolerate water well. I am a size 7 1/2 and size 7 worked just fine in both the Ultimate tall boots I own. Also have a pair of Ultimate short (in 7, brown), which has stood up to 4 years of wear and tear, and still look (and feel) great. Well worth the money!

I loved my last pair of Ultimates, which I bought about 3 years ago. I decided it was finally time to retire my old pair and replace them. I bought this new pair in the same size, but unfortunately they just didn't fit. The foot was the same size, but the leg opening was much bigger than my older pair. I'm fairly thin, (5'9" and 130lbs), and they hung off my calves...I'm really sad. I was really looking forward to my new pair, but they're just too big around the calf. Nothing wrong with the quality, same great Uggs! I just really wish they hadn't made the leg opening so much bigger! I'm returning my pair, but still leaving a 5 star rating.
