I was looking for ankle boots but decided to keep these instead. They are so comfortable. But you wouldn't want to wear them with skirts; the upper part doesn't stay up at all. That's why they were a good substitute for ankle boots because they're perfect under pants.

I highly recommend Ecco heels. I'm in my 30s and find that these shoes look relatively trendy while being much more comfortable than other popular brands. At first I questioned whether I should spend this amount on heels. However, I'm a marathon runner with foot problems, and my mother pointed out that I regularly buy running shoes at this price point, and will actually wear the heels much more. Also, I walk on slippery marble floors at work, and love the rubber sole with traction, as well as the padding in the forefront of the shoe.

Great Boots! This boots are extremely comfortable and have lots of room, especially for larger calves. They are very generous in size for both the foot and the calf. They are a bit loose, but I still love them because they look and feel great!

The boot looks great everywhere (very sexy), is comfortable, except at shaft's end (below the knee) is too wide. A little too loose. I like it so much I've looked around to see if I could have it tailored but that is too expensive, so I will be returning them.

Calf too wide - I ordered a wide calf and returned it for regular size calf. Even that was too wide. However, the boot fit so well in every other way that I took it to a shoe man and had the calf taken in.

David Tate Denver - Black Patent Stretch - These are the boots I've wanted to own for a very long time but could never find to fit my fuller calves. The boots looked fabulous straight out of the box. The fit is amazing. I've worn them for extended periods of time on a few occasions and my feet did not hurt or get tired. I've also received many compliments when wearing them. Absolutely worth the price.

Great for wide calves. The faux leather is somewhat thin and does stretch some. The boots were fairly comfortable after adding Dr. Scholl's insoles for more padding and arch support. Perfect for wearing over a pair of skinny jeans!

Very wide at the calf - The boot is comfortable for a wide foot - surprising since it has a pointed toe. The top of the boot (calf) is VERY wide - and I have a wide calf. I think it makes the boot look less stylish when it is on.

Top of boot is huge, ran much larger and wider than size. My calves were swimming in these, made the boot fall and wrinkle at the bottom. The heel is too short and looked odd. Also, was told my foot looked huge in these boots as they are so wide (at size 12 this is BAD). Not impressed with this boot. Returned it.

Great boot for a wide calf women - I love this boot. It is comfortable and stylish. I am a size 18W and got a medium size width. I also added a comfy insole for more wearability.

VERY big top of calf - The boot looks fabulous until I get to the top, at which point it looks like I have waders on. Terribly disappointing, but they fit everywhere else. They're just too big at the top. They'll have to go back.

Finally, boots that fit - I have always had muscular calves and had trouble finding non-slouch boots that would fit. Others have complained about the shaft being too wide, for me they were a perfect fit. Having wide legs made me self conscious in skirts, now I can completely rock out the skirt and boot look and feel feminine, sexy while still being able to walk. I don’t like how the zippers dig in my ankle, but I’m sure that will just taking some getting used to. I highly recommend them.

Good wide calf boots - These boots are very cute with pants and longer skirts. The fabric is comfortable. There are some faults though. They do not stay up all the time, the ankles are looser than I hoped, and they stretch out when you wear them. I have a wide calf (18") so I got the WW in an 8. I ended up returning them for a 7.5 W. I would suggest buying a width smaller than you regularly do.

TOO WIDE IN THE CALF! These boots are so comfy in the foot area and very sleek, but they are quite thin and flimsy in the calf and also way too wide. I have a wide calf and I was swimming in them! Unfortunately, I will have to return them.

I like the style and they are comfortable. However, the ankle was way too big; the fabric bunched and the zipper buckled out. I liked the stretch because I have wide calves, but even the shaft of the boot was a little wider than needed. I have to return them.

They fall down!!! I was so excited to get these boots. I have extra wide calves...it's almost always impossible to get boots that fit. I started with a 9 wide...way too wide...then sent them back, and got the 9M...they fit fine, zipped up...and then...I wore them...and they fell down at the ankles from day 1. I love the way these look, but I'm looking into getting them resized in the mid-calf to ankle area...Why do these fall down...I think it's all in the zipper.
