For me, it meets form (style) and function. The only downside may be that they are built like a cheap pair of shoes and may not have the quality/longevity of higher priced shoes. Regardless, I bought this pair in three different colors.
Brands I'd also recommend: Johnston & Murphy

I think these look fantastic with both skinny jeans and nice tailored dress slacks. The polish did wear off on the toe very quickly, making them less suitable for work if you aren't going to polish them. I would agree the quality of the dye on the leather is poor. However, I would buy them again because they really work for me stylistically. I haven't had any construction issues per-se, but the stitching does look pretty cheap. I give them 4 stars mostly because they really suited my look. They are not uncomfortable; I've walked around them for entire days at a time, but they are not cushy-comfortable either. The soles are very slick on wet surfaces and clop like a dress shoe when walking on hard floors. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 and wear up to an 8.5 with some brands of sneakers, but I have a 7M and they fit perfectly. I love this shoe, but the dye of the leather is pretty sorry.

You get the looks with these shoes and the construction on mine have been just fine. I even wear them daily on my motorcycle. They've been through rain but it\'s mostly hot sun and pavement round our way. The soles aren't your nice leather soles, they are rubber. That's disappointing for the price but like I said, my pair have done well. The rubber still functions well, keeps yer feat off the ground! I touch up the wear with black polish and they're right as rain again.

I purchased the boots on January 6th of this year. The look and comfort of the boot is above average. February 22nd I slipped on some ice with the boot on. I'm having the sole replaced with a vibram sole. The owner of the shoe repair told me the sole was a plastic which is why they are so bad on ice and any wet surface. Be careful when walking on any wet surface. 0 stars for poor soles.

Why don't designers stitch the sole of shoes nowadays? The sole is glued. Very bad. Kenneth Cole let me down again!
Brands I'd also recommend: Gola sneakers.

I ordered a pair of these shoes the previous year. After I wore them 5-6 times, the boot polish (the dye) began to come off. Now they look terrible. I asked several shoemakers if they can chemically paint them again but they told me it is not possible. The leather and the dye of these shoes is terrible. Probably they were kept in some warehouse for a few years or just the leather from the shoe producer (Kenneth Cole) is of absolutely poor quality. I am tremendously disappointed of them. DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES !!!

I wore these shoes for 4 days, the sole came apart and the dye ran. the look like I\'ve had them for years. I would not recommend Kenneth Cole Reaction to anybody. The shoe was quite comfortable but I don\'t expect to buy $85.00 shoes every two weeks.
Brands I'd also recommend: I would not recommend Kenneth Cole Reaction!

Terrible, terrible quality - These are not high-end, but the quality of this shoe is atrocious. I just looked mine over after two months of use, and they are ready to be thrown out. Literally cannot be worn for even moderate walking to/from work. Avoid.
