I bought these boots for my 4 year old. I was very impressed with the construction and light weight of these shoes. My daughter has now outgrown them but they are still in great condition. I credit this to the quality workmanship. The leather is very soft and makes the shoes feel comfortable to the foot and takes no time to break in. I do think they run a little on the big side. Great shoes and always great service with Zappos!

Jumping Jacks -
This shoe looks very adorable and Comfy...my daughter loves it. The only problem we had was the first 2 times that my daughter wore the shoes with white socks (we got the pink color) the socks got a little pink color.

I love the look and style of these shoes when I saw them online & the reviews were great. So I bought them for my 1 1/2 year old and was excited to try them on. I quickly realized, however, that the shoes were a bit heavy and clunky and my daughter seemed tired after only trying them on for a few minutes. Worried about her comfort, I returned the shoes. I probably would not recommend these for little ones younger than 2 1/2 maybe, due to their weight and bulkiness.

Great for toddlers -
Granddaughter 4 years old opened Xmas gift and said “Nana you bought me shoes.” When she opened the box you never saw such joy on a child's face. I bought her the fuchsia and orange ones she loves them and only wants to wear them everyday. I was so worried they would not fit, but they were a great fit. Best thing I bought her in a long time.

Jumping Jacks...
We love these shoes! They are a little heavy, but great for climbing and jumping and keeping little feet warm and dry in the wet/cold months. The only downfall is the strap....on all Jumping Jacks shoes that we have tried, the straps don't seem to be long enough. Otherwise, they are very sturdy, well made shoes.

We are very happy with these boots. The only issue I have with it is that they do not open very wide, the cute little butterflies are in the way, and so she can never put them on by herself. Otherwise we love them. They are strong, cute and seem comfortable.

Perfect fit -
We have had these shoes about 6 weeks. My granddaughter took to them right away. Not only do they have her favorite color on them (pink butterflies), they are soil resistant and fit her exactly. The only minor design flaw that I can see is that the fastening straps are connected which prevents adjusting them independent of one another. They don't lay flat if you try to do this. Also the butterfly edges curled up within a few days because they are only stitched down the middle. Water resistance is also a plus in mid-western weather in the fall - lots of rain. The higher ankle is also good for color weather. We have only one children's shoe store in our small town and the range of choices from Zappos makes selecting shoes for her easier. She loves shopping online with us and often picks the same shoes I would pick for her.

My daughter's shoe -
In an effort to be fair to future customers, I have a difficult time rating the comfort of the shoe as it is for my 3 year old. HOWEVER, I need to take the time to let anyone reading this know how wonderful this shoe shopping experience was for me. My daughter was a late walker and has had orthotics in her shoes ever since she was 15 months old. She has had braces on her left leg and has received OT and PT for 2 years - and she is 3 1/2 now! I have struggled finding a shoe that is stylish and also appropriate for her orthotics to get built into. I have spent many hours of frustration shopping for shoes for her to the point of tears; as I want her to be comfortable(and stylish) - but most styles in our (Maine) stores don't take physical issues into account. Nonetheless, I started searching the internet and stumbled upon this site. I am 500% pleased with the entire process and I have clearly found a way to shop for my precious girl's feet in the future!!! THANK YOU!

Jumping Jacks Papillon (Toddler)
I had purchased the same style of shoe a year ago for my daughter. She wore them from November through April through a Wisconsin winter, and they never wore out. I was so pleased and confident with them, I thought I'd buy the same style again. Now, one month into wearing these shoes of the same type, the rubber tip is separating from the shoe, and I don't think I can return them. VERY disappointed, given the price. BIG bummer!!
