I love these shoes! Cursed with wretchedly ugly, wide feet, I have a horrid time finding any shoe that fits, including athletic shoes. New Balance is typically my saving grace. I actually went into a New Balance store and they refused to show me a trail shoe. They insinuated that with my dogs I was lucky I found my running shoes. Back home to Zappos I go!. I typed in my foot alignment and a few options came up. Ladies, you do have to order a half size longer. I always get a half size bigger in New Balance but I needed a half size beyond that. From the first day I wore them they were super comfortable. No rubbing, toe squeezing or any other funny business. I haven't run trails yet, but I have walked miles on scrubby beach trails, rode a bike on vacation with them and even danced salsa in the street! Not a bad looking shoe either, though with my size I had fewer color options. I am going to buy another pair.

Love 'em. Like wearing lightweight but thick supportive socks. good fit, as described. Steady and supportive on mildly-rugged terrain. Quite comfy to bike and walk in. Work with and without socks. I tried and rejected seven other brands and styles, and these were the best of the bunch by far. I will be using as light hikers and cycling shoes for an upcoming trip and they can do it all!

These shoes are AWESOME - I love the look of these shoes, and have gotten TONS of compliments on them already. I have the yellow and gray/black ones. They are ULTRA light, and great for outdoor running! I highly recommend them to anyone that does a lot of indoor or outdoor running either one! I like to have extra cushion in my shoes so, I ordered some Spenco Hiker insoles and put them in, and they fit perfectly, and I couldn't be happier!

Terrific shoe - I ordered two pairs of these shoes, but in different colors. They are so light weight and comfortable. I need the arch support and these are great. I had to order some for my granddaughter because she loved the looks and the comfort of them. Got any other colors in them for future orders? I ordered a D width, but could've used a bit wider.

I bought these when NB discontinued the WT800, as these are supposed to be an improvement. Sadly, these are an utter disappointment. They are extremely uncomfortable. The cushioning at the back of the heel is very uneven - way too much at the top of the heel and practically none at the bottom... it makes it feel as though you’ve got something stuck in your shoe. The support at the ball of the foot is practically non-existent - my feet HURT within five minutes. I’ll just keep wearing my WT800s, which never should have been discontinued. BRING BACK THE WT800!

Shoulda paid attention to the size comments! I sometimes am guilty of not paying enough attention to the customer reviews on this site - usually because they are all about how cute these trail running shoes are for walking around the mall and I plan to use them for, you know, trail running, but if I had trusted these reviewers, I would have ordered up a 1/2 size or even a whole size from my usual NB 8.5 for a better fit: these were so short that my toes were crammed into the toebox. Definitely not a good fit for running up and down trails, but almost despite that, these shoes were cushy and I'm hopeful that a speedy return for a larger size will make me a happy runner.

Kool retro shoe! Absolutely love this shoe!!! Get ready for numerous compliments and looks from all! These are true to size and comfortable like no other. I would definitely recommend this shoe for the comfort and colors. If you are not fond of a boring white tennis shoe, well this one's for you. These look good with shorts and jeans and hold up good in the rain and mud. You will not be disappointed with these!!!!! GO FOR IT!!

Narrow and Short, but comfy - After reading other reviews, I ordered mine a half size wider and bigger than I normally would have-that was a perfect fit. Light weight and nice tread.

Too narrow - I ordered a half size bigger after reading the other reviews. The length was fine. They were way too narrow though, even in the wide.

Super light and versatile - I bought these to be able to wear in the city, to hike, to run, and to be sporty. Great hip look and super comfortable! Very light!

I love them!! This New Balance fit great and aawwwssoommmee arch support. I was having problems with my arch and soreness after working out. But after changing over to these I have zero soreness and I love. I don’t care for the color at all but I will still wear them for the support provided.

Omigosh... ridiculously comfortable. The arch support is moderate, but much better than most sneakers. Got the wide, which is heaven on my feet for end of the day treks. Normally wear a 7 1/2, but went with the 8 in these and, sure enough, they fit, my toes would be crammed in the 7 1/2. One disadvantage, these are about as waterproof as a sieve. But overall, a nice, light running sneaker.

Tennis shoe - I was pleasantly surprised with the speed and customer service provided by your company. When I called at 5 pm to say the shoe size was not correct and needed to make a return, I was amazed that the new shoe size arrived the following day! Wow, what service! This purchase was done even before I saw the Oprah show with Zappos' CEO on it! After I saw the show, I was even more impressed. I'm spreading the word about your service. Thank you!!!

Comfy, Cute, and arch support too! I just got these - less than 24 hours after ordering them!! My feet are sighing with relief, having worn flip-flops and flats all summer I was noticing some tenderness and a reluctance to go walking. I heeded to other reviewers, and remembering previous experiences with New Balance - they do run small - I ordered a half size larger. Good advice because with socks they are right up to the toe guard. I love the color combo and the dark outsole - finally New Balance gets it, glaring white does not do well with a dark upper!!! Trendy enough to wear around town, outdoorsy enough so as not to have to take another pair of shoes when going for a stroll on the trail. Really nice shoe!!

I ordered 4 pairs of sneakers and these are the ones I kept. I ordered half a size larger than usual as other people suggested. VERY comfortable, good arch support and very light. And they look great. The mesh part is actually brown.

I really enjoy wearing this shoe. They are very comfortable and light in weight. I have already purchased three pairs of the New Balance brand of tennis shoes and love them. I have encountered that some of the other styles run a bit small so I had to exchange them for a half size larger. But this particular pair ran true to size for me.

I love New Balance shoes, these are a nice change from running shoes although I had to order a half size larger and the toe box is slightly narrow even when the wide width is ordered.

After wearing (and wearing out) my New Balance WT800 shoes, I am very disappointed in the WT840. It is not nearly as comfortable in any way. I especially miss the attached tongue - no ridges to rub my feet. I like the look of the WT840, but please New Balance, BRING BACK THE WT800!

Nice shoe - A very lightweight and comfortable shoe. It's nice they come in a wide width. I haven't tried it for running yet, but I have walked in them a few times and they are nice. The style is casual and cute.
