I purchased this bag to take with me on a cruise to carry as a purse. It worked out great. It was the perfect size, hands free, and lots of pockets for convienence and security.

I bought this for my hubby because he carries so much stuff & is always asking me to put things in my purse. This bag is rugged, perfect size, & has a padded portion that will hold an e-reader. The wide strap is nice for cross-body or shoulder carry, only wish there was a clip or something to keep the doubled over strap together. All in all, very nice, well made bag.

This is a good size bag for my needs while out sightseeing for a day. I carried a guidebook, maps, camera, tissues hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, a snack, wallet, cell phone, and iPod touch with room to spare for things I may have picked up along the way. The zipper lock is a nice security feature, but since it is near your body when carrying the bag on your shoulders or cross body it's a bit difficult to access quickly. But I guess that's the security feature. The back panel has a lot of good pockets for organization and a passport pocket that is somewhat concealed. Pretty good day bag overall.

Eagle Creek makes great bags and we all know that. But it's the service with Zappos that helped me to get the bag I needed. The free shipping and speedy returns, as well as the chats with customer service reps helped me make the right choice. Thanks, Zappos staff, for your excellent service.

I purchased the Eagle Creek Guide Pro for traveling and now use it every day. I like the convenient pockets, the key chain snap, the easily adjustable shoulder strap, and that it easily holds a paperback book. I would recommend this organizer bag to everyone.

Well made, easy to carry, lots of pockets. I wanted this to be smaller than a messenger bag so that I would not fill it so heavy. Works perfectly. I also wanted it bigger than a small cross body purse, so that I could take my camera, glasses, cell phone. It works perfectly for that, too. Maybe I would have liked a inch deeper (front to back), but then I would probably make it heavier.

Attractive and functional everyday bag with pockets for everything. Outside pocket is a little awkward looking, but very useful. Keeps sunglasses handy and well-protected. Well made. I plan to use this bag for many years.

It\'s a very well-made bag, but a bit small for my daily needs, depending on how big the book is that I happen to be reading. Also, it doesn\'t have a pen slot, which I thought was a little strange.

Best Man Purse - I got tired of constantly having full pockets and looking for my wallet, keys, and phone every time I went anywhere, so I decided to get a "man purse". I tried several out before settling on the Guide Pro, which has been fantastic. The others were too purse-like insofar as their lines and utility (many had "wallet-replacement" compartment full of card slots and pockets). This one is rugged, but clean in its appearance. It has room for all my stuff (including extra diapers, wipes, ointment, and sunscreen for my 2 year old) without being so big as to make me look like an old lady… not to mention, it eliminated the need for me carry a diaper bag around. I love it. It's practical and not girly though it would look as good/natural and be just as useful for women (after all, it was made for them).

Have been looking for a travel bag to replace one that I have used for 17 years and is worn out; the Eagle Creek Guide Pro is the 2nd bag that I have purchased on-line, sent the other one back. Have used it for a month now and am completely satisfied with quality and functionality of the bag. May have to concede that it works better than my old travel bag.

This is not an easy-to-use bag. I was so pleased to find it on Zappos - I love Zappos! But the bag is too deep and items fall to the bottom - I can't seem to find anything in spite of the pockets.
