I have this and another pair of J 41 shoes (which are worn out). They are cute and extremely comfortable. Am looking for a third pair. I have a wide foot and find the roomy toe box fits from day one. Wish it was easier to find my size.

Best blend of comfort and style - I bought a pair of these shoes last year in black. I constantly receive compliments from my friends and co-workers, and would recommend these shoes to anyone. Like any woman I want my shoes to be cute, but I'm not wiling to sacrifice function and comfort for fashion. These shoes exceeded my expectations. They are more comfortable than any dress shoe I've purchased before. With other dress shoes, I find I can hardly wear them. They pinch my toes, and blister the back of my heel. I had no issues with these shoes, and abolutely love the adjustable back that gives the custom fit. The upper back also has some cushion and flexibility, so no blisters. I also like the bottoms of the shoes. Unlike traditional dress shoes the bottoms actually have some texture. It's similar to a trainer on the bottom, so your have some traction. This is a bonus in the cold winter weather. I was able to wear these shoes with confidence on the ice.

Very cute, but do fit weird - It took me awhile to figure out how to get these to fit correctly. The strap on the heel tightens with velcro. I have to make them pretty tight so that the heel doesn't slip off, but they are padded so it isn't uncomfortable. I rarely wear heels & did fine in these. I think they are super cute, which I find rare with vegan shoes & they garner quite a few compliments.

This is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever owned. In order to keep the back from coming off I have to tighten the strap; this then makes the toes push into the front of the shoe. If you loosen the strap then the back slips off when you walk. This was an expensive lesson in discomfort.

Very cute shoe, but shoddy construction (a strap broke after less than a week of light wear. Also, the fit is weird. I have narrow feet, but am consistently a size 8. Following the advice offered in other reviews, I ordered 1/2 a size up and found that my heels were slipping out of the shoe while my toes were slamming against the (unyielding, synthetic) front. I walk a lot. Everyone says they walk a lot, but I walk 5+ miles of city streets on a daily basis. This might account for my experience with this shoe - if I were hopping in and out of a car every day, the shoe’s fit might not be such an issue. Thanks for good service Zappos!

Great shoe, BUT WATCH SIZE - I read other reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger (too big) and then re-ordered a normal size which ended up being too big, too. Unfortunately, the shoes fit great when I walked around at home and I realized the first time I wore them outside that they were too big. Zappos’ returns system is quick and easy. Wearing them outside meant that I couldn't return them so I have a brand new pair of 7.5 that are too big for me!!! Otherwise, this is a GREAT shoe!

Love these shoes! I bought them in Olive and I get compliments every time I wear them. They are so comfortable and I was able to order the size I normally wear. Can't wait to buy them in every color!

I ADORE these shoes! I bought them in red first, then later in black patent. They are so adorable, and I get compliments on them constantly. They make me feel sassy and sexy, and I am not a person who can wear heels, so this is fantastic for me. I love that J-41 makes shoes that are so fantastically easy to wear AND that look so fun and stylish! So great that I can be good to my feet and my sense of style at the same time!

So Cute - I read all the reviews and decided to go ahead and order hoping that I would not have the heel issues so many others had. Unfortunately I had the same issues. The heel slides off constantly. I was able to adjust the back strap to keep the heel from sliding off but it made the back of the shoe look weird and feels weird because of the way it caused the back of the shoe to bend to conform to my foot. The shoes are so very cute but a bad design. I wish J-41 would fix this design flaw because I like so many others would love to own this shoe. I unfortunately had to send the shoes back just like most everyone else.

Nice Looking AND Comfy! Holy! These shoes are SO comfortable, wow! I usually don't wear shoes w/ any type of heel but I needed a dressier shoe to wear w/ skirts so I ordered these and I was shocked by how comfortable they are. The only prob was the slippage at the heel like every other reviewer has mentioned HOWEVER, I believe that for me, it had to do w/ the fact that I order a half size up and it was too big!? Anyway, I'm sending mine back and will try my real size at a later time. Also, these shoes look really, really nice in person. Shiny, sleek, and not too clunky either. I also love that they are somewhat of an eco-friendly shoe! Zappos was of course, great. I really love shopping for shoes here! P.S. I also have wide feet and these didn't hurt my feet at all. Hope that helps!

Great Shoes - This is the first pair of J-41 I have bought. I went by the other reviews and ordered 1/2 size bigger. Great fit, even without socks. I will check out other styles from this company. As always great service from Zappos. Thanks!!

I should have believed - The reviews! One of the best things about Zappos are the customer reviews, but this time the shoe was just so darn cute, I didn't want to believe what many reviews said. I was hoping that I would have the foot that wouldn't slide forward, have squished toes, and be absolutely impossible to keep the heel in. Alas, my totally normal 8.5 foot was no match for this ill-fitting shoe. It just didn't work AT ALL. Sigh...

Smaller size 6 1/2 to big for size 6 foot. The description said to order 1/2 size larger which I did and they felt about a 1/2 size to large. Possible the variance is less noticeable with larger size but I wear a size 6 (sometimes 5 1/2) and these were too big. I was real bummed about not being able to keep these. The toe box is large and I have average width feet and they felt wide enough. If you have a narrow heel you might have problems. I love the fact that they are vegan and they are soooo cute. Some people suggested heel pads but they were still way to large. If you normally wear a size 6 to 6 1/2, the 6 1/2 should work. Wish these would have fit.

Odd fit pushes foot forward - This shoe is true to size in terms of length and width, and has a nice roomy toe box. However my foot slid forward, which jammed my toes against the front of the shoe. Two family members with feet shaped differently than mine had the same problem. Loosening the adjustable heel strap alleviates the problem somewhat, but then also causes the heel to slip out of the shoe easily. The shoe does look great -- both sporty and edgy. Definitely try the shoe on before buying, it might work for some.

Comfortable- Strange Sizing - I adore my J-41 Continental's so much that I have 2 pair. I always wear an 8.5 but when I bought my first pair of Continental's I noted that they ran a bit small so I got the second pair in size 9. It was a perfect fit so I ordered the Sevilee in a 9. Ouch! They are too tight and since I wear them with tights I was sure the 9.5's would be perfect. They are pretty big and somewhat loose even when I am wearing tights. Cute but too loose and I can't wear them for lots of walking or I get blisters. Ouch!

Great funky shoe! I finally got my shoes in the mail today and I had to wear them right away! They took several days to come in. Normally I get my Zappos order the very next day, but with the Christmas rush, they took a little longer. Anyway, let me tell you about this shoe. What can I say? I love them! They were made for my feet! There is a little slippage at the heel. Nothing a Dr. Schoal heel insert can't cure. It's worth it to me to put up with a miniscule bit of discomfort in order to wear such a unique and clever-looking shoe. Everyone comments on them. Nobody has anything close to it. I work in a library where I MUST have comfortable shoes. These fit the bill. I consider them one of my comfortable pairs of shoes, yet they have a heel on them that makes me quite a bit taller... and that is very important when you are only 5'2''. Now, if you are really picky about your shoes or have foot problems, or bunions or are older, you might not be able to put up with them. I just wish I could order them in every color. My mother bought these for me for my 40th birthday, hoo raa! The greatest gift I ever received. (Oh, I took the advice of the other reviewers and ordered a half size up. Perfect.)

So cute, but...they're going back - These shoes are so cute. I was looking to replace my Danskos which have developed the dreaded "dansko squeak"... but as cute as they are, they will be returned. I ordered an 11, which is a half size up for me and my toes hit the front of the shoe. Additionally, the heal is really loose - the thin strap across the back is velcro and you can tighten the heel, but then the back of the shoe looks a bit bunchy... anyhow, if they fit you I'm jealous.

Cute shoe but did not fit. I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a half size larger. The fit was right lengthwise, but toe box had odd shape and shoe was not snug due to its cut. Would be too easy for this shoe to fly off my foot, even after adjusting the heel strap.

Can a cute shoe with a heel really be this comfortable? I have 3 pairs of J-41 shoes (all flats) and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I took a chance ordering the J-41 Seville because of the heel- I was worried that it would not be comfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out they are just as comfortable as the flats and they are super cute!

Very cute but not right for all feet - I ordered and had to return this shoe as well as the J-41 Grand. The angle of the toe contour on this shoe is such that if you have a 2nd toe that is longer than your big toe, this shoe will not be comfortable for you. But it is super cute, SOOO comfortable and environmentally conscious to boot. Really sad I had to return them.
