Half Cab Pro - Great Shoe. Very padded which cuts down on the board-feel but overall excellent shoe. This is how all Vans should be.

Great update! Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. Now there is no heel bruising, too!

Awesome shoes - These shoes are the best out of the Half Cabs. They have gel in the heel so there is no heel bruising. I love this shoe.

The Half Cab Pros are awesome. Easily the best shoes I have ever tried. The grip is amazing and keeps you on your board. The grip stays too. It is a very durable shoe. They don't rip! The cushioning is great too. It might be a little less cushioning than other brands, but unless you're trying like 20 stairs, it won't be a problem. They're very comfortable too. And they look sick. Best shoes ever.

Sk8 or die, bruh! I've skated for over 10 years, and I got my first pair of Half-Cab pros less then a year ago and haven't looked back. They are true to size, stiff but not uncomfortable and very supportive, especially for skating. If you are on your feet all day, you might want to throw some insoles on them, but I've found they're a pretty good overall shoe. I like them so much I bought a pair to skate in and a pair to live/work in.

Vans halfcab pro - The shoe is amazing the first week, but after that it becomes flimsy like any another halfcab. The sole has a bit more padding than the originals. Other than that they look and feel amazing straight out of the box.

This shoe kills, for the fan of the half cab this one just has more support and feels solid longer than the suede that though require less break in than these, blow out and feel like skating in slippers after a couple weeks. These fit a tad snugger than the regs.

Bought these shoes for my son as a gift. I had them sent to him from Zappos and they arrived so quickly and exactly what he wanted. He does a lot of biking, skateboarding and walking - these are the best.

These are my new go-to, everyday shoes. I've spent the last couple of years trying to find vegan kicks that were comfortable and looked good with little success, until now. I'm not a skater so I can't say how hold up for skating. For everyday walking around, they're so tight. The insides are really soft and comfortable and they feel like slippers. They're nice and study shoes though.

This shoe just sucks so don't buy it don't don't buy it unless you want to get ripped off if. i could i would rate this shoe 0 stars for everything. It looks bad fells made on your foot the whole thing is just crap seriously crap. And this shoe doesn't have durable suede at all the first trick i tried on the board a big piece of the shoe just immedetly came off. It mot worth 70 at all i probably wouldn't even pay 10 dollars that how bad it is. So if you don't want to get ripped off don't don't don't i seriously mean don't buy this shoe for your own good.

This shoe is my all time favorite from Vans. I have tried several different Vans styles including the chukka low, classic slip on's, 106 vulcanized, rowlys style 99s and others. I would put the rowly's style 99s in second place. But this one is the most comfortable so far! The padded tongue and collar provide support and security to your ankles and it molds to your foot immediately. They are so comfortable that you don't have to put up with the pain of breaking them in, they seem to already be broken in in a sense. They make my feet feel happy, secure, comfortable, warm, and they are easy to slip on as well. The only thing it needs is more color combinations and maybe more variations of the shoe. I own 3 pairs and when I bought my first pair, I stopped buying/wearing the other vans styles. Although I still wear my rowly's every now and then. Dear Vans, please please please make more color combinations for this shoe!
