Life saver - I wore Saucony's a long time ago & loved them. Great for walking & I have terrible feet. I have been hunting them for a long time. I am so glad I finally found them. I love to wear them all the time. They are the most comfortable shoes I have. Wish I could wear them with everything. Look great & are true to size for me.

First time ordering from Zappos - I really like the look of this shoe, it is the first time that I have been able to find a shoe this size and width for a woman. The only fault I find is that the tongue of this shoe is very short and so it doesn't give that extra little cushion where the tongue would be. I have a problem with a tendon on my right foot and really need the protection there. Other than that I am happy with this shoe. It is comfortable and the support so far is good.

My daughter gives a 5 star rating - My daughter doesn’t complain about her feet hurting any more now. She says the shoes are wonderful, and wishes she had them years ago. My daughter said these shoes have helped her knees feel better too. She is on her feet 8 to 12 hours every day and much of that time it spent on concrete. I’ve noticed that she is in a much better mood now, thanks Zappos!

The best - The best - no others feel this good to me. I always have to go to 8s with Saucony and 7.5 with Asics, Nike, etc.

Review of Saucony ProGrid Ride W - I was surprised that I had to send this shoe back and get a "wide" width, so in my opinion it runs it a bit narrow for the conventional foot. This shoe was highlighted in various publications as one of the most comfortable running shoes/soft/ made this year. I found it a bit stiffer than thought. Overall a good shoe for the money though.

I have only worn these once, but I already love them. The size is perfect - I'm usually between an 8 and 8.5, and the 8 fit wonderfully. They are cushy, they roll with my stride. I am convinced that my previous running shoes (New Balances) did not provide enough cushion for my feet, because when I put on these Saucony's I felt like my feet were being pampered, and no jolt to the balls of my feet when I did calf raises and sudden stop-jumps. I'm a mild overpronator, and even though these shoes are meant largely for neutral to undprontators, I feel a good bit of stability and expect it to be fine.

Saucony Progrid Ride - I just bought these shoes, so haven't put many miles on them yet, but so far I like them. They fit well, except that the heel is a little wider than I'd like. However, that can be remedied by lacing. I like the fact that these shoes are a bit lighter than the other brand I run in, and the heel is a little lower. They also give a better feel for the road. The midfoot/forefoot is reasonably flexible, which is good. I didn't answer the arch support question because to me that's irrelevant since I have a high arch and am not looking for support. Appearance-wise, the gray mesh and silver/metallic accents are nice. Overall, I think this will be a good running shoe.

Cushioned and Supportive - These shoes are perfect for me. I originally tried a low-end Asics, which did not have enough cushioning. The Saucony's made such a difference! I don't run - I do DVDs at home (hardwood floors) - The Firm and lots of boot camp type stuff. My performance has improved, with respect to all the jumping moves, and I don't have any more pain in my shins or hips. I typically wear a 9 or 9 1/2, and I have a narrow heel and bunions. I bought a 9 1/2, and the fit was perfect.

Good support, cushioning and more room in toe box - Toe box is wider than other Saucony's I've tried. This works well for my foot that is wide across the toe area. I have a more narrow heel and normal arch. But shoe fits heel and arch well no slipping. I have a size 11.5 foot and am a large but very active woman. Great cushioning and support. They relieve strain on feet and knees almost instantly. I tried a Saucony Progrid jazz that was too narrow in the toe box. The Progrid Ride W fits my foot much better. I wear this shoe daily. Would like to see it made in silver with black accents and khaki with brown. Something less athletic shoe look and more of an everyday wear look for shopping and errands. I don't mind the shoe appearance so much as I would like more subtle colors. I often opt for something dressier but less comfortable. Great shoe! Love the Zappos shoe reviews, free shipping and easy return.

Great Looking Shoe - True to size - Very soft insole. Almost Spongy. I find my calves tired after running a short distance because of this. It's like running in Sand. They are the cutest shoes in the Aqua color. I love the way they look. The tongue does shift, but it does not bother me. Very comfortable for walking and standing. I have a high (very high) arch and they seem to correct the typical pressure points. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I would buy them or not. I always buy a half size up from my dress shoe for sneakers and they fit perfect.

Hurricane - I have been wearing Saucony for many years now but was very disappointed to find that you no longer make the hurricane product. Can you tell me if the progrid mentioned is close to it. I did purchase the omni pro grid but am not liking it at all. My instep aches on my entire run. I have reverted back to my old hurricanes. Help...

Great lightweight running shoe - Saucony fits me well… sometimes I have a problem with other running shoes cutting into my ankle bone, which this brand does not. I also have a bunion which doesn't bother me in Saucony. These shoes have carried me well through my regular running, a half marathon, and the breast cancer 3-Day 60 mile walk, without any blisters!

An oldie but a goodie - I've worn this model of Saucony for years and just love it. A wide forefoot, lots of cushioning and pretty good stability. I'm not sure what to make of the sizing - I'm a 6.5 in regular shoes but always seem to wear an 8 in running shoes.

Nice shoe - I am a neutral runner with a high arch who needs a cushioned shoe. These fit nice and were comfortable right from the box.

Overall pleased with this shoe. I have had my old Trigons way too long and I finally replaced them with the Ride. I was concerned about the narrower toebox when I received them, but after wearing them for a day or two before running, they seemed to loosen a bit. I've now taken several long runs in them and they have great stability, cushioning, and are light on my feet. The toebox has enough room even for my wider feet. I was very pleased. My only negative is that the tongue falls to the side as I wear them. What's up with that? Is it my feet?

Saucony pro grid ride - Excellent Shoe, no 'breaking in' required. I bought them for walking, and love them, but also could use them to run.
