This is the best backpack for all your gear. There are tons of pockets for keeping highly organized. My 15" Dell fits perfectly, but may be a bit too snug for a 17" laptop. I'm a nursing student and I can fit all my medical gear for hospital clinical,a couple of textbooks and a 3-ring binder and still have room for a change of clothes. The cushion system against your back keeps this backpack from giving you backpack fatigue...highly recommended! Thanks Ogio and Zappos!

This bag has turned out to be everything I was looking for. I am truly satisfied with my purchase. I had very specific needs and had been looking for the right laptop backpack for quite a while now. I have a 15" macbook pro and it doesn't fit in most 15" rated laptop backpacks. I don't like shoulder bags, I'm a big guy so smaller backpacks don't sit well on my shoulders and I like lots of pockets but don't like the bag to look too bulky. Also I need a backpack that looks professional and not like a college bag. Ogio has two separate sub-brands and their professional line of backpacks is awesome and very slick looking. Also thanks to Zappos free return, I was able to buy 3 backpacks, try them all the keep the one that worked best. The Epic has an amazing variety of pockets and has a few small touches that is making my experience with this bag very satisfying. The pocket in front of boarding pass access is turning out to be a great catch all for lose paper and easy access items like a pen. The mouse pocket on top is amazing for the 2 things I use every day with my laptop, a mouse and the power cord. The main compartment is huge without looking too big and there are small pockets in every compartment for all your digital knick knacks. Best of all, the laptop sleeve is so well padded with an extra pocket that I can fit the iPad in there no problem. So all in all, Ogio and Zappos have ended my hunt for the perfect laptop backpack. I think I'm a Ogio/Zappos customer for life!

This is a great backpack! It's very comfortable and extremely functional. It has many different pockets and compartments that make my life easier. I really like the fact that I can put my laptop and iPad using the side pocket of it, so these electronics stay in a separate compartment.

I hunted for weeks to find the right bag for school! There was no way I would risk my brand new laptop in a crapack, so perfection was required in this case, and I had some bread to spend for my birthday. I bought the OGIO EPIC and its the best bag I ever bought. $100 was worth it-Sleek, stylish, and highly organized, my favorite part about it is that it doesn't stick off of my back like so many goofy bags man, it stays sort of flat, and if you can dig my style you know exactly what I mean. I didn't want a giant egg on my back, and this thing does it all with class. My folders and engineering books take up a lot of space and this bag works for it. Plus my Oakleys match the plaid. My son is 6 ft and husky - Finding clothing and accessories for my kids are like a treasure hunt. My 16 year old is very large (Thank goodness for Zappos when he needs new size 16 shoes!!) He hasn't had any complaints about this backpack (a 16 year old who doesn't complain - it must be good!) and it is incredibly sturdy to take him to the end of the school year. Attending a campus-style high school this backpack will be exposed to the elements numerous times during the day and I have no doubt that it will hold up nicely.

The first bag failed within a year--side computer compartment zipper failed--and Zappos was great and exchanged for another bag. This one has made it for just over a year and the zipper failed in the same place. It doesn't really fit a 17 laptop comfortably and therefore binds on the lower corner. I don't know if Zappos will back up this replacement bag or not, but I think I'll be looking for another brand. Unfortunate, because Ogio has always had good quality products, but it seems like they just didn't really do their homework on the 17 bags. If you don't travel a lot this might be the bag for you. However, if you're looking for a bag that will last more than a year and you have a 17 laptop then you'd best look past this one to another brand. The look and organization are great, the shoulder straps are moderately comfortable, but the zipper durability gives this bag a low overall score.

I've had this backpack for almost an year...and it's now doomed... the side pocket for the laptop is nice but all the zippers are not durable enough to make it work...both side and main compartment zippers are totaled and unusable in about 13 months of use...It *barely* fit my Macbook Pro 17in...it is a little tight (and this is what I think made the zipper fail over time)...the top compartment is super comfortable for wallet, phone, passport...I've used this backpack for many flights and it’s definitely ok to be used for checkpoint... Kudos for the nice fabric and feel, but it lacks a water resistant treatment...Overall nice backpack as far as it lasted...

This is a disappointing purchase; the zipper broke two months after use. The back pack is unusable now. What a waste. I will not be purchasing this brand again. Buyer beware.
