"Fancy-Shmancy" shoe:)
I recently ordered these shoes for my almost 4 year old (US size 9.5). Great shoes! Of course, she loves the flashing lights, has been great success at preschool. Everyone is paying attention.
The upper shoe is made of suede, which is nice and soft. The inside is a pink polyester fabric, hopefully will last long enough for her to grow out of the shoes. I bought them in brown color, since it seems to be more practical than lighter tones. Good for running, riding a bike and hanging out on the playground.

I hate blinking lights, but...
My wife chose these shoes at a local Stride Rite store, but the store did not have one in our daughter's size. Zappos, of course, did. These are terrific, seem pretty durable (Linnea is not a gentle girl), and comfortable.

Very narrow -
I was really disappointed at how narrow these were. I ordered wide for my daughter and right away she complained they were too tight. The strap didn't even reach half-way across! Normally Stride Rites fit her wide foot just fine.

Great shoe!
My 3 year old loves these--I just stain and water proofed them first and they wipe clean so far. The straps are nice and thick, not like some of the other Stride Rite light ups.

Love This Shoe!!
I have a 2 year old daughter and we are in love with this shoe. We will continue to buy her shoes from Zappos. She never wants to wear shoes but when we got these, she runs to go get them and wants to put them on. They slide on so easy and are quick to put on. They are very comfortable for her. My daughter's feet sweat but after she takes off the shoes, her socks aren't damp at all. We love the fact that she can wear these with jeans or a dress. One day she actually sprayed her foot with the water hose and the inside of the shoes barley got wet. She was able to wear them later that afternoon. I recommend everyone buy this shoe! Your child will appreciate it. Toddlers feet need to be comfortable when they are 1st learning to walk and run. At first I was hesitant because we have had so many bad experiences with shoes in the past, but I read all the other reviews and went ahead and bought them and I could not be happier!! My only complaint is my daughter has a very large and wide foot and when the shoes are on the strap does not want to go all the way across. But the shoe is still WORTH it!! Thanks Zappos! :)

Daughter Loves Them -
These are the only shoe she will wear. She has to wear sneakers to school but really doesn't like to - these she loves because of the lights and they are really easy for her to take on and off herself.

My daughter has the pink suede and within one week they were almost black! She is hard on shoes, but these are impossible to keep clean. She's only had them a month and I'm ready to buy a new pair because they look awful! Overall a great shoe...just don't buy the pink ones if your daughter is the least bit hard on shoes!

Great sneaker for the prissy girl -
My daughter has a hard-to-fit foot because her feet are so narrow. Some medium widths are too wide for her. The strap on these shoes holds her foot in place, and the back of the shoe hugs her heels without digging so with a pair of socks, these shoes are great for a narrow foot. She will not wear a true sneaker, and this was our perfect compromise. The blinking red lights are BRIGHT, more so than the cheaper light up shoes you'd find at other stores. Also Stride Rites are 1/2 size bigger than the marked size, to give room to grow without being too big.

Cute Shoe -
This is my daughter's favorite shoe. We have it in both colors (pink & brown). The Velcro strap makes it easy for her to take it off and put it one herself. The shoe is sturdy and lights up.

My daughter loves them -
I was hesitant to purchase these since my daughter has a wide foot and many shoes with straps across the top cut into her. But she wanted them, so I ordered the wide. Turns out she loves them. So far, they have stood up well to rough playing. She has not complained they hurt her feet and the Velcro strap has stayed on.

These were bought right before school to give us an alternate to tennies on P.E. days. They are pretty cute. The lights are not my thing, but my daughter digs them and they aren't too obnoxious.

Cute shoe, decent price, fast service -
My daughter loves these new shoes. I'm expecting them to last awhile just like all of her other stride rite shoes. She loves how they flash and make a flower footprint. I'm usually not a fan of the flashy shoe, but these are cute enough for me to make a suggestion. These are going to be great for school this year.
