So far a great workout shoe! I wear an 11 4A, but I had to exchange this shoe for a 12. It is narrow enough and snug without choking the life out of my feet during a vigorous indoor walking/jogging workout. Plenty of cushioning in the ball of the foot. The ankle padding in the back isn’t quite as snug as the Gel Motion shoe, but it is adequate.

Super comfortable. Great padding for the heel strike and nice flex in the forefoot. Like the stability. The 11 Wide fit me just the way I wanted them to. No rubbing or slipping anywhere. Zappos customer service is absolutely the best. Ordered late on a Sunday and had them Tues morning.

My new favorite shoe -
I have been running in the Mizuno Wave Rider and Wave Creation for about 5 years, I started wearing the Asics Gel Nimbus about 1 year ago. They have excellent support and cushion and they seem to last more miles than the wave rider. This will be my fourth/fifth pair! This shoe even does well for trail running. (Best for trails that do not have lots of small rocks though)

I run a lot and I LOVE these shoes. These cause no shin splints and they alleviate my plantar fasciitis. They have great arch support and also correct under-pronation. The soles of the shoes conform to the bottom of your foot so you feel like you are standing in a cushion of support. I had the ASICS Gel Stratus and those were good, but these are SO MUCH better. These shoes are not too wide in the toe and the lacing system goes further down the top of your foot for an even better fit. Definitely a must buy and worth every penny.

Great Shoe -
I really like the Gel Nimbus series of shoes. Great for everyday running, but this wasn't quite as comfortable as my last pair, but I still love the shoe. Last one felt like you were running on a cloud. This could use a tad more padding, but it's great. Happy with the color and true to fit.

Good cushioning -
I was looking for a shoe with good cushioning all through the forefoot, and this has it. It does run small. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7, and I ordered a 7.5 which feels short and I wish I had ordered an 8.
The stitching is messy at one place on the shoe, but overall I like it, and can do aerobics and walk in it with comfort.

Second Pair -
This is a good cushion shoe if you have narrow feet. I just ran a marathon yesterday for the first time in these shoes and the only discomfort was sore toe nails. The toe box is narrow. Order 1/2 size larger. Otherwise I'm 180 pounds, flat feet do all kinds of distances and have been very happy so far. Took away my shin splint pain within a week or so.

For someone on their feet all day...
I bought these shoes to replace some Nike running shoes I had owned for a little over a year. When they arrived, I wore them on a short walk and to the park with my daughter straight out of the box with no problems. These shoes have been great in training for a recent 12K and saw me through training and the race. They are still comfortable to date after about 5 months. I am purchasing another pair for the gym and one other pair for work (I'm a nurse). I love the comfort, cushion and support that these shoes offer...they are worth every penny!

Like running on a cloud -
This is the first pair of "performance" shoes I've ever bought. I've always hated running. Now I love it. These shoes are awesome. They make running feel like running on a cloud. I could have done without the chrome, the shoes are flashier than they look in the photo, but I'm not big on looks anyway. The question below asks if the shoe would accommodate orthotics, I have no idea. I'm a 12 or 13; I ordered 13, which was perfect. If in doubt, order a size or half size up. Seriously, these shoes are awesome in ways I can't even describe. They make me look forward to working out because working out now feels good. I also stuff them with newspapers when I'm done because I hate swamp foot, but that's just me. Two thumbs up!

These shoes feel so cushy & seem to ameliorate my plantar fasciitis symptoms, & even bought a hot pink pain, my least favorite color. Fits with my orthotics as well.

I have only worn Asics running shoes for the last 20 years and this shoe is the best so far...great support. I usually wear an 11 shoe, 11-1/2 in Asics except this pair I went up a whole size to a 12. As usually Zappos is awesome when it comes to exchanging shoes...they make it painless.

Cute, perfect running shoe.
Very, very cute! I got the scarlet/silver color, and they are gorgeous! Lightweight, yet fully supportive. Lots of padding, excellent arch and foot support. Always, with Asics, get at least 1/2 size up. Zappos is great, ordered these shoes in the afternoon, and 24 hrs later they were on my doorstep. Thanks Zappos!

I think these shoes have increased my inspiration to run (just had a baby 12-31). They feel great... although I think I should have gone up just a 1/2 size (I went up a whole size), they are light, cushiony and I get lots of compliments on the color (hot pink). I'm not a girly girl, but I do adore the color. I am training for a half marathon and have had no problems. No blisters, no pinching, no slipping... they are great shoes, even for an Athena runner (I am 5'11" and weigh 180 lbs). They make me feel like a professional! ;-)

These are very comfortable- I have an older pair so I ordered these. The only problem is the left shoe- they added a strip that goes across the big toe. The left one is very stiff and cuts into my big toe. I will try another pair to see if it's any better. Very cute.

These shoes are the best! Comfort, support, looks...they have it all. Absolutely the BEST for me. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. I am pondering ordering another pair in a different color. I got the white/flame scarlet/charcoal and they are so nice looking. I do go up one full size in Asics. Normally wear 8 1/2, wear 9 1/2 in these. Fit is great. Try them, you will agree they ROCK!

Not a bad shoe but would not buy again -
I bought this shoe hoping to love, love, love it like I do the Gel Kayano 14 but was slightly disappointed. I love the hot pink color and when I read the reviews it seemed like it was for me. I would have stuck with the gel kayano 14 but I didn't like the other colors so I decided to try something new. The toe box in the gel nimbus is not very roomy and there isn't a whole lot of cushion which I need for bad knees. I feel like my feet get numb after a half hour on the treadmill. Not a bad shoe but wouldn't get it again, I'll stick to the gel kayano 14 next time.
