Alternative boat shoes :) Love the look and feel of these shoes. super comfortable, if a little stuffy (wear them with low socks if you're going to be in them all day. I got the white ones with blue trim, and I love the coloring overall. I ordered a size down, as I usually do with Vans, and that was perfect. they feel more like a C width. Oh, and Zappos upgraded me to next-day air shipping which is obviously a fantastic surprise. If you're thinking about alternatives to the boat shoes everyone is wearing, go for these!

EXCELLENT!!! I ordered these shoes in my normal size, and had to send them back because vans do run a bit big. I got the new size the next day with no issues!!! These shoes are so comfortable; I can wear them without socks and not worry about blisters! They look tiny and are just a great shoe to have especially during summer! The old schools are also a typical great choice. Zappos is great and super reliable!

Out of the box, these are the best fitting Vans I have ever owned. I haven't bought a pair of Vans in 4 years but I still wear my other pairs around. In the past Vans have been a little narrow for my feet and would need a good breaking in but these fit my feet perfectly. I bought them in my normal size. Maybe there is some inconsistencies between different sizes. I wear 11 1/2s. Personally I've never needed to get Vans a size down. I've had to get them 1/2 a size up numerous times in the past, though.

Definitely consider ordering a 1/2 size down. They fit perfect after reading prior reviews and went with their suggestions. Zappos also upgraded to next day shipping for free which was a sweet bonus. I received them the very next day in the am. Zappos FTW!!

This is the second pair of Vans shoes I've bought. The first was so super I decided to try another pair and they, too, fit and feel like they were hand-made for my feet the very first time I put them on. Size-wise and width-wise they are true and look so neat on with or without socks.

These shoes arrived last week (way fast shipping, thanks!) and I have never owned a pair of Vans been more of the Nike Shox kind of guy, and my oh my these shoes might be my new favorite! My feet are super happy and I might just have to get the Black ones now. Thanks Zappos!

Ive been waiting to get these shoes since they came and I finally got them when I had enough money. They fit just right and I don't see why people go a size down. When I had no problem with getting the exact size that I usually get. Only thing that irks me a little is that the shoelace comes undone often and have to keep tying it, other than that its great. I love how the bottom of the shoe is smooth and does have the regular waffle sole.

These shoes are so great that I forgot to write a review about them; I was too busy fake-boating. They feel a bit wider than normal because they don't lace up very tightly, but don't let that stop you.

I'm the kind of guy that wears boat shoes, not skater shoes. These look much more like skater sneakers than I thought they would. However, they are very comfortable and durable. Overall, a good shoe. I would buy these again.

These were a little tight, but overall, great shoes. I am new to the Zappos.com website; however, I placed multiple orders this year, and the service was amazing! I received the items so fast, in a few cases, the next day. Customer service is the best I've seen with an online service. I had an exchange and the new item was shipped before the old item was received back.

I ordered these shoes for my son 2 days before Christmas. I took advantage of the free shipping offered at that time. To my surprise, the order was processed the same day, and was sent via one-day shipping. The shoes arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order. Excellent overall service. Typical of Vans products, this is an awesome, amazingly comfortable slip-on. Cute as all get out, too. Can't wait for this snow to melt! And Zappos.com is the only place to shop shoes online. I'm consistently amazed by next-day service, especially when I'm not paying for it. Customer for life!
