This is a great bag! It is a little darker in person, which to me is better. It is a tough little bag! The strap is wide so it doesn't cut into your shoulder. It isn't able to fit a binder or normal papers in it, it isn't tall enough so it isn't a bag for school if you wanted to put books in it, but great for school if you carry your binder and books, which I do. I recently took it to visit family out west along with a duffel bag. This bag held up great, I took it hiking, and horse back riding and ATVing. This bag can be for a man or woman, my 17 yr old boy cousin actually barrowed it for a day! The zipper to the main compartment is a little small, so at times I did have problems getting some things out, but other than that all pockets are great, the side zip pocket is great for pens. When on the plane I was able to fit the following in it: Kindle in a slip hard case, ipod touch, over the head headphones (folded up), PSP in a case, about 12 Games/movies in a ziplock bag, hand wipes, wallet plane tickets, sunglasses, gum, snacks and several other small items with plenty of room to spare. When out on the trails and all I put a skinny Starbucks reusable water bottle, my large Canon camera, riding gloves, winter hat, cell, iPod, and several other mus things on the trail, first aid. It held it all and didn't hurt my back or shoulder. This bag is able to take a beating, it even was stolen by a horse and carried off at one point, and didn't get damaged! Great service for Zappos like usual!

I just bought this bag for myself and was disappointed with the overall quality. Zippers are flimsy and the straps are thin and rough and twist easily. The bag itself is pretty roomy and holds my water bottle, a novel, wallet, phone, keys, and notepad, but the zippered top is smaller than the bag itself which makes it difficult to get stuff in and out of. The inner pockets are small and don't hold very much (pens, or small mp3 player). I was expecting a far higher quality bag for the high price, but it turns out the bag is made in China and the low quality shows.

Fantastic, albeit a true man bag - This bag is the right size for my daily use. If I had to carry a lot of papers or my laptop--not so much. And be advised, the Velcro on the outside pockets is what I call truly masculine; it's too tough for the one-handed retrieval of a lipstick because you might need both hands. Also the strap seems intended for a taller person. Aside for those caveats, it's a pleasingly unusual-looking bag, the color and feel of the canvas is beautiful and soft, and the organization is so handy. I often believe in snapping up the man's version of a product if possible because, let's face it, man-goods are simply made more durably. Okay, now I've said it semi-publicly. But they are.

This is an attractive and very well constructed bag. I was looking for a book bag for my daughter to use at college. This one hit all the marks except it was a tad too small. She wanted a bag large enough to hold a few personal items, couple text books and maybe a lap top too [a big bag!]. She liked the looks of this one the best but felt it didn't give her enough room inside. It is a good choice if you don't need or want an extremely roomy bag. Zappos had it here in record time. I am always impressed with the speed of service at Zappos!!

Really nice - This is the coolest purse. I was looking for a messenger bag but most were just too big. This one can hold a book and lots of other stuff. It has lots of compartments for keys, lipstick, and bigger items, and strong outside compartments with velcro closures for ID's and stuff --really nice and convenient and not too heavy.
