Blistering is minimized and comfort is enhanced as the foot stays cooler because, as the midsole is compressed, hot air is transferred from the midsole to the outsole and then outside the shoe via a linked system of holes, channels and ports.
- Mizuno Wave® disperses impact forces uniformly over the length and width of the midsole, providing unrivaled cushioning. Biomechanically engineered midsole resists overpronation, thus relieving stress on ankle and knee joints.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable cushioning running shoes I have ever had, period! I normally wear New Balance, but these take it to the next level comfort-wise. It's like running on marshmallows...and for us big guys (6ft; 220lbs) it really makes difference. Also the mesh weave construction provides better ventilation than I've seen elsewhere. Can't say enough things about these shoes. A1 product.

Great shoes. I'm a big guy, 230lbs with mild/moderate pronation. These shoes were recommended for me by a salesmen at a running store after analyzing my stride. They fit great and I now have 2 pairs. Last week I ran 18 miles in the rain with zero foot pain and no blisters. To me, that is a sign that I have the right shoes.

Same great shoe - I wore the Inspire 2 and 3 and was very glad to find this one to be just as good. Did not notice any changes with the fit, no blisters or hot spots even when doing a long first run in them. The heel may be a little more snug, which is good. The updated look is an improvement, but who buys running shoes for the look anyways?

Great Shoe! I fell in love with Mizuno running shoes some 6 years ago and never had another type running shoe since. I tend to overpronate with my step due to my low arches, and this shoe felt great the first run out of the box! I was looking to replace my old hand-me-down wave runner 7's my dad gave me after he ran in them for a couple years, and this shoe felt just as comfortable as my old pair. Mizuno's truly are the most comfortable and durable shoes! Thanks Zappos for your great products and service!

Great cushion - One of the best running shoes I have owned. Better fit and seems more durable than Adidas Supernova Cushion. The feel is similar to Asics Nimbus, but without the contoured sole. Great comfort with a soft, snug instep and tongue/top. I have a slightly high arch (closer to neutral) and these roll great. I often use them on trails with tons of rocks and roots and the cushion is sufficient (the traction is not sufficient for trails). For the price, it's the best I have found. Sharp but a Little Tight - This shoe looks very nice and for the most part feels good. I have a wide foot and usually find 13 - EE wide a perfect fit. This is my first pair of Mizuno sneakers and I found the EE wide not as wide as my last pair of New Balance sneakers. They actually felt the same as my ASICS (D) normal width.
