Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to width
I just got these today and I still have them on! I already adore these shoes. They are very comfortable and supportive. The pull-lace design is easy and stays tight. I am almost always a size 8.5 in shoes (sometimes a 9), and due to the reviews on Zappos I got an 8. They fit perfectly. Be sure to go down half-a-size! I cant wait to wear these to my retail job.

I would say these shoes run a half size big. I ordered the size I usually wear, and I probably could have ordered a smaller size because the front area of the shoe is quite wide. There is plenty of room for your toes that is for sure. I had trouble figuring out how to do the laces. You have to roll them up under the pocket on top of the tongue part of the shoe and then it sticks up a little bit after. I wasn\'t sure if I liked that at first, but after wearing them it grew on me.

These are definitely for me. I have flat feet, no arches and severe arthritis in my toes. I give 10 stars to Zappos for putting up with all my purchases/returns in the last 30 days. With winter setting in, my feet are very sensitive and I really wanted something that would feel like wearing an old pair of gloves. These definitely fit the bill and I have ordered three different colors. Wouldn't think of shopping for shoes anywhere else and have sent several friends to Zappos and they could not believe the great service they got. I took the advice of many of the previous reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller. They work just great. Support within the foot is just wonderful.

After reading other reviews I ordered size 8.5 when I usually order 9 .The shoes fit and feel great and I have very fussy feet due to arthritis.

Excellent fit for me. Extremely stable footing, with an extra wide heel, a roomy toe box, and a robust tread. Comfortable out of the box. I need these shoes for hiking archeological sites in Israel, and so far, wearing them around town, I'm impressed. The quick lace system has more cons than pros, in my opinion. The shoes lace quickly, with easy adjustment to just the right tension, but the instructions are not clear on how to store the lacing mechanism, which is composed of two plastic parts. I assume they fit into the tongue pocket, along with the slack "thread", but inserting them into the pocket after the shoes have been laced up has eluded me, so far. Once the shoes are laced up, the pocket becomes hard to open, and I find it impossible to stuff the plastic lacing mechanism and extra lacing material into the available space quickly and easily. Consequently, the laces work themselves out of the pocket and dangle off the shoe in short order. Frankly, I can't see how this is an improvement over regular shoelaces that you simply tie in a double knot. Fit is the most important criterion for me, so I'm keeping the shoes.

These shoes are great multi purpose hiking/walking/running shoes. They fit my wide toed, narrow heeled, size 7 foot perfectly. Great support for my high (but failing) arches, my heels don't slip, I can wiggle my toes, and the laces stay put. Good shoes + good socks = miles of comfortable feet!

Fantastic shoe. Ready to hit the pavement, right out of the box. No break in period needed. This is my third pair of Salomon. I am in love with the fit and the quick lace system. These shoes wash up beautifully and dry quickly. By the way, the green color is more soft and muted than the picture shows and it looks great with the gray accent.

Great hiking shoe! Wore them for the first time hiking for 5 hours in Maine and it was pure comfort the entire trip! Very light and durable. I would recommend ordering down a half size, as I am normally an 8.5 and ordered an 8.

I've been pretty happy with my Vasque Blurs for hiking desert mountain trails, but was tempted by the Salomon reviews to give them a try. Like them at least as much and possibly more than the Vasque... only time will tell. The only problem is that I wrongly followed some of the advice here that they run bigger than most trail runners, so ordered an 8.5 instead of a 9. Bad move...but thanks to Zappos return policy, only a minor hassle. I wear an 8.5 in "normal" shoes, typically a 9 in my trail runners, and that's just exactly what I needed in the Salomon. The lacing system was a bit of a concern as I've developed a unique lacing job because of my Morton's neuroma and high arch. But no problem! Love the lacing system. Hoping it holds up. I have a lot of arthritis and one year post knee surgery. While I need a lot of cushioning in a shoe, I don't like too much support as I like to be able to "feel" the trail - I like to feel low and close to the ground. These seem to do the job. Plenty of room in the toe box yet the shoe holds my heel snug and in place. Wore them around the house a bit before my first hike, but plenty comfy on that first hike.

I've had several pairs of Salomon shoes in the past, and despite buying the same size, these really do feel a half-size larger than my older pairs. The arch support is farther forward, everything is too big. But, I've loved my former pairs so much I may just go get the smaller size!

The Only Athletics I'll buy! Solomon are the best! I've owned many different styles and love them all. I tend to get the men's because this brand always runs narrow (and I have normal to narrow feet) so mens offer that extra width for comfort. But wanted a light color for summer and went for these, they were a bit snug at first but quickly stretched out perfectly. I can't say enough about Solomon for any athletic style shoe, they are without a doubt, "THE BEST", and the pull tie is awesome! They also last forever. I hike with dogs every day and tend to need about 1 pair a year, they last forever, dry quick and are so comfy that you forget you are wearing shoes at all. There is always room for my orthodics too.

Great Hiker ! I love this shoe. Bought it as an alternative to my Salomon hiking boots. Great arch support and tread. The laces I especially like because they are quick and easy. Good for summer, breathability is excellent.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthLove them, but they do run a bit large - I love the other Salomon shoes/boots I own and when the need arose for a new pair of non-waterproof trail-runners for a hot summer trip, I was happy to order these. I love the look of the Aluminum/Autobahn/Aqua, which is very neutral (just a nice hint of aqua), and they felt really great - super comfortable - except for the length. I usually wear an 8 in most running shoes (other Salomons included), but these in an 8 were too long for me. I just ordered another pair in 7 1/2 and hope those will fit better!

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThis is my second pair - These hiking shoes are great! It is my second pair and they fit perfect. The best is that I don’t have the laces to get in the way and if they get wet, which they did, crossing brooks, they dry very quickly. I highly recommend them.

Salomon is back on the right track - These Salomon's are the perfect shoe for me. Extremely comfortable with a wide toe and narrow heel bed. I needed no break-in time. The sole is flared at heel which is great for stability - much better than in previous versions. Still light on forefoot padding, but that doesn't bother me. These are my new favorites!

Great trail shoe! This was my second pair of trail shoes and my first Salomons. The shoes are very supportive and have great grip on wet rocks. I just finished a 50k trail run through creeks etc. and not one blister.

Great work shoe, too! I have a problem with weak ankles and needed a supportive and light weight shoe to work in. This is my second pair and will order from Zappos again.

Comfort right out of the box - This is my 3rd pair of Salomon's. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly right out of the box. I love the lacing system. I have a different type for work as an RN and they are so comfortable, just as this type is. I like the updated look, not a regular tongue to the shoe. And so glad they come in a dark color. I'm able to wear them for hours and have not had any problems. Will stick with this company for my activity shoes.
