Love them! I bought these in Navy. They are great! Really comfy. Just a heads up… I usually wear between a 9 1/2 - 10 in women’s and got these in a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

These are much more comfortable then Converse Chuck Taylor's. I used to think so 35 years ago and I still do today. They're wider, have more cushion in the soles, and unlike CT's, they actually do have some arch support. I'll wear these and Pro-Keds, but I try to stay away from Chuck Taylors because they're so uncomfortable. I buy a lot of shoes and I'd say that these fit true-to-size. That's regular shoe sizing and not Converse sizing, by the way. I normally wear a 10.5-11 and the 10.5 fit me perfectly. In Chuck Taylor's, I wear a 9.5.

Great shoes. These are the 2nd pair I have. Takes a bit to break them in but once they are, very comfortable.

Shoes are great, feels like chucks but slightly different. I decided to get a size 7 in these but unfortunately I got a size that were too small. I usually wear a size 8 in vans and a size 7 in chucks, but I believe these run in between. For future customers I would recommend you get your true size or just a half size down.

These shoes break in quickly and comfortably. I can walk all day in these with much less discomfort then other traditional sneakers. I also like the top lacing, makes them easy to take on and off.

The quintessential summer shoe. Perfect sytle, perfect true-to-size fit, perfect all-day comfort. I'm on my feet most of the day at work. I don't event give my feet a thought! I also ordered another pair in 'natural'. PF Flyers are my favorite brand of foot wear. (We need more colors!) Thank you Zappos for your superior customer service, your return/exchange policy, your efficiency. You are the best shoe company out there!

Caveat: I'm reviewing from a woman's perspective, though I believe these are unisex shoes. These sneaks are cute and comfy. They do resemble all stars, but they've got a higher profile (lift), which I like. They fit true to size, nonetheless, the slightly rub and move around on my Achilles heel--but I solved that with gel inserts made for that spot. Finally, I think these are cute with bootcut jeans, shorts, and capris.

I like the look of white Converse All-Stars oxfords, but they always pinched my toes unless I sized up. These have the same look as the low-top Chucks, but with a wider toe-box and a more cushioned sole. They're light and breathable which makes them perfect for summer and only look cooler once worn out. OVERALL: More comfortable/wider than Converse or Vans.

I bought these in a fit of nostalgia, and was pleased to find they are as lightweight and comfortable as I remembered. They are a clear step up from Converse Chuck Taylors, roomier and more durable with better support. They seem a little over-priced, but I used to get them for ten bucks, so what do I know? I will definitely buy another pair of PF Flyers. Maybe today. Recommended.

Great shoes for a good price and the shipping at Zappos is excellent. I received this item 4 days before it was supposed to come and everything I get from here comes way early.

PF Flyers vs Pro Keds vs Converse (Jack Purcell). Laces: Pro Keds and PF Flyers use cotton laces. Converse uses nylon laces, which don't like to remain tied. So I replaced them. How can you have a "vintage" shoe and use nylon laces?! Width: I have wide Samoan feet so I would rank the PF Flyers as being the widest at the toes, then the Pro Keds, and lastly the Converse. Softness of footbed: All three are about the same. The differences are really minor. Looks: Personally I like the way the Jack Purcells look best - just a pair of blue and white sneakers. But the painfully narrow toe box on the Converse makes the PF Flyers my overall winner, with the Pro Keds a close second.

I bought a pair of these in natural about two years ago. I have been a life long Cons person and still wear them, but this pair of PF Flyers has been amazing. I bought some similar hi-tops in black that are not as comfortable, but I have taken this pair all over the place, worn them non stop and done everything from hike, workout, walk through cities, travel and they are seriously comfortable and even look better as they get trashed from use. I could not rate a shoe like this any better.

Much more comfortable than a Converse or Vans, especially if you have a slight arch and like the support on that part of your feet. Would buy another pair of PF Flyers! So long Converse and Vans.

Classic lines, clean execution and crisp detail. These PF Flyers are a great look with jeans and chill slacks. Highly recommend. The mix of matte and shiny are well thought out and give the shoe a classy touch.

I got the white ones and I like them a lot. The arch support is welcome and they look nice. Only notes are that they are very much off-white. And there is a strange strap that laces on at the top that I didn't notice when looking at the photos, but I don't mind it at all.
