At last a walking shoe that isn't too wide. Suffering with sloppy fit has been a problem for me for years-medium just doesn't do the job for me. I am absolutely delighted by the perfect fit and great comfort of this shoe. The fact that they are light and fit well make for an unbeatable combination for me. Nothing but New Balance narrows for me ever again.

Great walking shoe.
Excellent footwear. Very comfortable. It has great padding. The upper doesn't bind. The first time I wore the shoe I went for a 3 mile walk. It was comfortable from day 1. I love the shoe.

Great Workout Shoes -
Very comfortable, no breakin required. I use these for various cross training activities, though I don't run... but they are great for walking, step mills, etc. up the usual high New Balance standard.

New Balance MW576 are great everyday shoes. Very comfortable for my w-i-d-e feet. If I keep them clean they are exceptionable for dress shoes. I think I have gone through five pairs over the years and I foresee more in the future.

I ordered these for my husband and he said they are more comfortable than any walking shoes he has owned. He has a very wide foot (4E) and has a hard time finding comfortable shoes so these are a great find. The service at Zappos was, as usual, extraordinary.

I purchased these shoes for boyfriend to wear to work. He has a very wide foot and is always searching for a wide shoe that has to be black. Most of them in the stores are wide but not as wide as these. He says they are very comfortable and supportive for his line of work which requires a lot of walking.

Great shoe and great service!
This is a great shoe and is SO comfortable. I had been wearing size 9 shoes for many years and had been buying size 9 at my local shoe stores only to always have discomfort and blisters. I recently had my feet measured and discovered that my feet are a size 7 1/2 EE width. My problem ALL along with shoes rubbing and not fitting correctly had been solved...except, now I could not find shoes wide enough to fit my foot. I heard about Zappos and decided I'd check it out. Not only did they have wide widths, but they sent the shoes to me in 2 days and it was free shipping both ways. I wore this shoe on a vacation that required lots of walking, and when I got back home I used them to walk on the treadmill. These are great shoes and although the look of them reminds me of a boot, they are a great purchase.

A DAMN GOOD SHOE -
This shoe has great support, very comfortable and looks good too. I weigh over 300 pounds and this shoe gives me the support I need to do my morning walk and go about my everyday activities. Great walking shoe -
As a heart patient, I walk 2 1/2 miles 6 days a week. I’ve been doing this for 3 years. I have worn out three pairs of New Balance 500 series walkers. The soles went. The upper leathers and stitching held up great. Great shoe and great value for the money. Right out of the box I walked 2.5 miles and my feet felt great. As long as I'm walking, I will always use New Balance walkers.

I don't know whether NB changed their design, but this shoe had NO arch support. If someone wanted to add custom orthotics, this shoe might work well.
