Overall, I was very pleased - as I would expect from a company of this reputation. The fabric is extremely durable. I have another bag with the same fabric and it has lasted many years without a nick. As is visible, the shaping is very soft, which makes packing marginally more challenging as the sides don't hold shape well. External compression straps are a little annoying with the bag in open position but work well when it is closed. If you are looking for a large bag that still falls in airline regulations and you want something without frills that is extremely durable, this is your bag.
Brands I'd also recommend: Patagonia, Osprey
