These shoes are ok, but are not of the same quality I expected from Teva. Arch is so flimsy, it’s practically non-existant. For those who have normal, healty arches, this probably isn’t a problem. I have fallen arches, which means the shoes I buy should always have good strength in their arches. Because the Teva sandals usually have an excellent arch, I assumed the shoe would be similar. Not so. With the absence of an arch, my feet pull the button and the elastic loop over about an inch and a half. So, for me, this is kind of a disappointment.

Love it!
I've had these shoes about a year now and LOVE them. They are really cute and look good with pants or a skirt. The elastic was a little tight at first, but did relax within a few days. I have a narrow/medium foot so it might be uncomfortable on a wider foot.

Wish they had been better...
I purchased these shoes in hopes of replacing an old pair of Skechers brand Mary Janes. I'll be honest these are not the greatest looking shoes, but that isn't the most important thing to me. I put one of the shoes on and couldn't get the eyelet over the button. It seems as though the eyelet isn't long enough to accommodate a foot. I forced the shoe on without unbuttoning it, it fit, but the strap dug into the top of my foot. They were a little big in size but the next size smaller would have been too small. I'm sad to say these shoes are going back.

Great shoe -
Extremely comfortable. I am a big fan of the Teva mush sandals and this shoe is every bit as comfortable. It is extremely light weight and has a funky look. It runs a bit wide, but then I have a narrow foot. But even being a bit wide, the way it fastens on the side keeps it quite secure.

I am very pleased with the Teva Makayla - they are very comfortable with enough space in the front for my rather wide feet. There's not a lot of arch support, but despite that they have been quite comfortable for walking 2-3 miles at a time without giving me blisters. They do rub at the side of my heel a bit without socks, but with socks they're great. And they're super-cute.

Puma Romas are the best shoes ever. I wore some for three years then I got them dirty so they turned to work shoes. I roofed at least ten houses in them because they were so comfortable and I never slipped. I would still be wearing my blue suede shoes if I had not outgrown them.

Third pair of Makaylas -
I like this shoe so well that I've gotten 3 pairs in different colors. Because of knee issues, I seldom wear heels and have found these shoe to be both completely comfortable and dressy enough for school (I teach) and even church. Love them!

I love these shoes! I bought them because they're cute and "green" Sometimes, that combination equates to uncomfortable so my expectations were low, but not these ! They simply mold to your foot. It's almost as good as going barefoot!!! Don't just buy one pair, get 2. You'll be glad you did if (when) the first pair wear out.

Nice Summer Shoe -
I'm enjoying these shoes, but like others, found the strap to be VERY tight. I sprayed on some shoe stretch a few times, and they seem to have broken in okay after that... I'll still undo the strap if I'm sitting still for any length of time. These are very cute and I suspect that with tights I'll be able to wear these through the fall.

Despite what a great shoe this is, it is not vegan as another reviewer stated. The shoe is full-grain leather. It is admirable that it contains some recycled materials and is adorable and comfortable.

I knew I would love these shoes. They are Tevas and that says it all. A fun spin on the Mary Jane, they are light, comfortable, and durable. The arch support is acceptable with room for your feet to swell during long walks to the bus, tram or shopping. Because they are made from recycled rubber, this is an ideal selection.

Happy to recycle! I am very happy with my purchase from Zappos.com! The Teva Makayla is almost perfect, with the small exception of a little rubbing on my foot by the strap. I also feel good about the fact that it’s made from post-consumer products and is good for the environment!
