I bought these work shoes for my husband and he loves them. He said before these shoes he would have sore feet & calves during the day and when taking his shoes off his feet & legs really hurt. Great Boots - Great waterproof boots. Bought them for my son and he says they're comfy and true to size. Zappos, also great company.

Surprise - Let me start by saying that I work outside and have been looking for a comfortable boot for a long time. I thought I would try a Red Wing boot, a little pricey but I'll still try one pair. Zappos made the order easy, Red Wing has won me over by making a boot that looks ok, fits great and has shock absorbing capabilities that far exceeded my expectations, the comfort kinda creeps in, I jumped off my truck recently, Ford F-350 with a dump bed,(52"), and realized that there was little if any landing shock. This started me thinking that if there was no shock on the landing the days work has to be easier on the body. Now I'm sold and yes I'm worth it.

I thought these were good shoes (as I wrote in an earlier review). Soon discovered the soles are totally useless and lost all the tread and developed holes after six months.

The boot is good - I will like to see how it holds up over the next couple of months. All in all this will be my boot for years to come. True to fit! Zappos is a great online shopping experience.

Better than most boots - Rockport has been my brand of shoe and boot for many years. Their boots have consistently been very good looking, light weight, extremely comfortable, rugged, warm and waterproof. However, since the soles of my last pair lasted only about 4 months, I thought it was time to try a different brand. If your winters are wetter and colder, these Red Wing's make a really nice summertime boot because, and I could be wrong but, I don't think they're very insulated or waterproof. But they are, however, a very good looking traditional work boot that are light weight and comfortable. They're priced higher than they're worth compared to Rockport, if Rockport ever decides to get back into the boot business, but compared to the clodhoppers that Timberland makes, for example, they're well worth it.

The soles don't last - I wore the soles flat in 4 months. The boots are comfortable and the leather is soft and durable but the soles are worthless. Too pricey for a few months of wear.

This is my 4 pair of shoes from Zappos. Keep doing what you are doing.

Great Boots! Great looking and instant break in. These wouldn't be for those looking for an extra tough work boot, but they are nice durable leather. The soles are a bit soft, but that helps with walking comfort.

Red Wing Boots - Great boot, easy break in, look cool like a construction worker, butâ?¦ the soles of the boot are wearing out way too fast, need vibrum or something more long wearing for the sole.

BEST BOOT I EVER WORE - I always wore timberland and have owned many boots... These are un-real... They feel like sneakers. You can jog in them.. Amazing fit...

Red Wing Boot - A great shoe for everyday wear or work. Look great and they are really comfortable. You see them in GQ as the new "hip" boot. I really like them.

LOVE MY RED WINGS - After being in construction for ten years I bought my first pair of Red Wings. Ten years later, they are all I will wear for work. A little pricey, but well worth it in comfort. My only issue is the soles wear out a little faster than the other brands I have tried, but everything else lasted twice as long.

Put to the Test - I am a mason so my boots get destroyed by mortar and concrete. Until now, I have bought cheap ones and then my feet suffer. Not anymore. This boot is amazing: unbelievably comfortable, durable and warm. With a little leather conditioner every few days, they are flourishing in the muck and mire. They are good looking, too.

boot - Ordered Boot Sun. morning, Boot delivered 1:30 next day, the day before Christmas.I normally wear size 10.5 For this boot ordered 10EE and it is a perfect fit and very comfortable. Wish there was an 8inch style. Boot lover from Chicago suburbs.
