Great looking boot - The boot appears to be a little narrow, but that will change once I've worn them a few times. I wear an 8 1/2, so naturally I bought my size. Not so sure I want to chance exchanging them for a 9, inventory is low. I love my Frye boots, I would have bought the Daisy Dukes, just couldn't afford them both.
Brands I'd also recommend: daisy duke

Tough 'n ready... Nothing but compliments were thrown at me when I wore these boots w/ dresses and jeans. They are beautiful and wear well. The leather is nice and only gets better w/ age. But I had to warn you tho, these do take some time to break in. The leather is stiffer and I had some trouble w/ rubbing in the heels. So you would need to take some time to break them in, but this is fine since you'll be able to wear these boots for years to come!

OMG...Got to have them - This is a must have boot. I wanted a pair of Frye boots forever, however; the price and the fact that I have huge calves kept me away...Until, I saw the "Bruce Pull on". The price was within my budget and the best part they fit around my huge claves. They are amazingly comfortable, I did have to order a 1/2 size larger, as they run small. If you are having any doubts about getting is pair, stop-it...and order them right now.

Great looking boots. I love the Frye boots I have bought in the past, and these are wonderful too. They look good with jeans tucked in or out and are cute with dresses. The size seems pretty true also.

I got these shoes this past January and loved them! This past weekend I wore them on a rainy day and spent several hours in the rain dodging (not wading in) puddles. Today I've noticed that the soles are falling apart! it looks terrible and I'm not sure if this is shoddy craftsmanship or these shoes are meant only for nice days. I find the latter hard to believe. Anyhow, be warned, these aren't for rain or my pair is not good.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Beautiful versatile boot. Good for someone with shorter toes or a wide foot, since western style necessitates sizing up. I had to return mine because the boot with the proper length was ridiculously wide. I wish Frye made narrow boots to address this problem.

I absolutely love mine! I saw these boots in a store were I live and fell in love the only thing was they were more expensive than this and there was no way, my husband would kill me. After a very long search for the same boots at a cheaper price I found these here, ordered them asap and waited at my door for the delivery. They are the same boot brand and all but a lot cheaper. Love them!

I bought these in Cognac Antique Brush Off and love them. They have excellent arch support, are extremely comfortable and good looking. Worth every penny...so glad I got them.

These are the perfect boots! They are beautiful and comfortable to wear. They run small so I got a half size larger than I usually wear and they fit great. I searched for a long time before trying these and I'm thrilled with them!

I have ordered these boots now in two sizes, a 7, which is my normal size and my foot was coming up in the boot and was sliding around as I walked. I exchanged them for a 6.5, which I can't even get my foot into the boot. I'm not sure if perhaps one of the pairs is marked incorrectly, or if I should just try a different Frye style, but this isn't what I normally expect from Frye. I am tempted to order another 7, and see if I just had a bad pair.

These boots in Cognac are perfection. The pointed toe is not too long or witch-like, something I hate in a lot of the other authentic cowboy boot brands. The color and leather are fantastic (not much variation in the color throughout the boot, unlike the photos on many websites). I am usually a size 8 or 8½, and the 8½ fits snug but comfortable. They are very stiff when you first put them on - during the first wearing they break in with little effort and will feel much more flexible and comfortable.
