These shoes are light weight, comfortable, and look good. I've had these shoes for about a month and haven't had the wear issues other users have had. I love how flexible and grippy the soles are.

Awesome shoes - My husband is EXTREMELY hard on shoes- a pair of converse all stars last maybe two months or less. He has worn these shoes daily for over a year and they still look halfway decent and are comfortable. These shoes are unbelievably durable.

Good shoe, even better with added soft insole - By default, the shoe looks good and works with lots of different colors (I got the non-black), but the padding inside is bare minimum. Invest in $10 insoles with some cushioning and these go from a 3 to a 5 star in comfort.

Favorite shoe I own far and away. Super comfy. I get a lot of compliments on them. Laces are a bit flimsy and I had one break on one side. The shoes will show a bit of wear rather easily but I think it makes them look better if you can imagine such a thing. THESE SHOES ARE AWESOME. YOU NEED THEM.

Simple living is a thing of the past. Bigger, better, and faster have taken the wheel and spun us out of control! We’ve been melting glaciers, banishing bee colonies and devolving the human race into a rat race that uses a devolving mantra of GIMME GIMME GIMME.

When is enough really enough? When can we tweak the definition of wealth and accumulate some positive karma? Can’t we just trade down for once? What’s the solution to this mess?

It’s Simple.

With all the over-built, over-hyped products out there, it's becoming hard to find comfortable shoes that you can live with. So Simple was started. They’re your stereotypical, anti-stereotype brand offering quality shoes and a big dose of reality. Reality with Simple takes shape in the form of Simple men’s shoes, Simple women’s shoes, Simple kid’s shoes and Simple bags.

Later, after about a gazillion pairs of Simple men’s shoes and Simple women’s shoes (give or take a few pairs), Simple has managed to learn a few things. Well, actually a lot of things. And none are more important than this: HOW Simple makes their shoes is just as important as WHY Simple make them. Simple has to find more sustainable ways of doing business. Which pretty much is where Simple stands today... at the crossroads of here and now, aware of their responsibility to the planet while trying to pay the bills.

Sometimes Simple makes progress that is notable while at other times the improvements are harder to recognize. The important thing is that Simple is committed to making Simple shoes and Simple bags that are 100% sustainable.

If you’re ready to take a stand against the shenanigans of excess, then Simple has a new equation to live by:

Less > More

Keep it real. Keep it Simple.

Nice Shoe, Durability Questionable - Overall a nice vegan shoe, and for the most part it seems to be pretty high quality, however within the first week the brown rubber by the toes and heel area started to tear off. Even with small pieces of rubber coming off, the shoes still look good and I'm pretty rough on shoes so it may not be a problem for most people. The insole has small bumps that kind of massage your feet while you walk. I like the way it feels, but some people may think it feels strange. Pretty sure the insole is removable though.

Extreme Comfort - At first I was unsure of the bottoms, but they turned out to be a sort of massage. Would definitely recommend.

Insole - The weird nubby insoles on this shoe need to be taken out immediately and replaced with something softer and more supportive. Once I did that, the shoes were great.

I got my hopes up - Overall I like these shoes, but I think my expectations were too high. They definitely look best when brand-new. It took a couple days for them to feel comfortable but now I really like how they feel. My friend had another pair of simples that I tried on and really liked but they didn't have that style so I bought these. I think I like my friend's better.

I have a wide foot and a high instep and I have an orthotic for my regular shoes. These shoes proved to be immensely comfortable and easy to wear on a recent trip to NY. The medium width worked well for my foot in this style. I would readily recommend these shoes for comfort and style. I love them.

Comfortable and good-looking, but not much support - I've only had them for a couple of weeks, but I've been satisfied with the looks and performance so far. There's absolutely no support in the soles - I think of them more as a sandal than a shoe, but since I wear them at my desk job all day, there's not much need to go out and buy insoles. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them, but the Loaf is much more comfortable, though not as workplace friendly (since it looks like a slipper).

Great casual shoes - I wear these every chance I get. They look great, are as comfortable as slippers, and are more responsible than a lot of other options. I'd probably buy another pair after these wear out.

These shoes look great and fit pretty well. There is not much arch support or much cushioning in the sole. So if you plan on doing a lot of walking at one time you might be better of with a different shoe. I personally love my pair.

Be wary - They definitely look cool, but within 3 months the sole on one of them completely detached, and the glue for the insoles has also detached on both shoes. The laces on both have snapped multiple times. To reiterate, these shoes look really nice, but they physically don't hold up. I'm not a strenuous runner or anything like that; they're just poorly made.

Eco-star sneaker - Kudos to Simple for actively trying to create a sustainable line of footwear. The Toemorrow's are the most successful in combining fashion with recyclable function. They are my favorite eco-sneaker by far. My only complaints are the minimal amount of support and the off-gas smell from the rubber. Hopefully Simple can continue to improve on this attractive shoe.

Great hang around shoe - This shoe is very comfy and perfect for hanging around in. I wouldn't wear them if you are going to be walking for long periods of time, not exactly a lot of support. Great overall purchase and exactly what I was expecting to get.

2 months old and coming apart - These shoes are really great in the comfort and looks departments, but bits are beginning to come off around the outside (the brownish rubber with the white stitching). Looks like the adhesive is not up to the job. This is too bad because I was looking forward to a long summer with these shoes, but now I'm not sure how long they will last. For the record: I'm not generally hard on shoes and I sit at a desk most of the day. I don't think I've gotten them wet, even once.

Great shoe! Yes, they're a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Plus, with the recycled tires and organic materials, you know you're helping the environment. I love these shoes, and have gotten tons of compliments on them. Took a little bit of breaking in (the canvas at the vamp kept making a weird "bending sound" whenever I'd step, cuz it was a little stiff...it's fine now) and the foot bed of a "bumpy" insole was weird to get used to, but now, after about 2 weeks, they're awesome. I usually wear a 12 to 12.5 and ordered a 13 and they're fine. Enjoy! Cuz they're great!

Toemorrow Simples - For six months I have worn day and night my Dark Earth Toemorrows. I have used them in snow, salty streets, rain, and dry days in Northern New England. They are indestructible. They look at first like they will not last long, but not so. They are so well made with very durable materials that I am going for one year of use. The pebble pespad is great for minimizing metatarsalgia and calluses. Arch supports are not needed for normal feet. Just look at all the "flip flops".

Good shoe, but wears too fast - The shoe is very comfortable, it adapts well to the feet. I love the earth like look and the fact that most materials are recycled or organic. The only down fall (and its a big one) is that it seems that the shoe will not last too long as the threads and other parts seem to wear very fast.
