Love these shoes for around the house. I normally wear orthotics in many of my walking shoes. But the 802's, I can wear while cooking, doing chores and my feet and legs do not hurt or get tired. I was told by New Balance that they were discontinued. I hope not!

Overall cute and comfy shoe...I’ve always bought New Balance sneakers and was excited to see the mule style...easy on for everyday wear...I originally wanted the gray but ended up with the cream b/c of sizing...I like the neutralness of the shoe and find that I can wear them with shorts and capris alike...I ordered a wide size and it runs pretty true to size...I would definitely recommend the wider width size if your foot is at all wide...initially the point where the top meets the top of your foot felt tight, but after a few wears, it fits much more comfortably. I expect to get a lot of use out of these...

Nice good comfy! Inserts fit in well after you take theirs out, or a snug fit with both in. My only concern is that it won't last long being canvas, but we will see.

A true fit for a narrow foot. Lightweight which is perfect for spring and summer. Very breathable. I love this shoe and have a total of 4 pairs in different colors. I may order another pair in cream just to have when my other gets old. I felt the support was good since I have trouble with my sciatica and can't wear a lot of mules or strapless sandals. Clarks are my brand of choice for casual mules and sandals, they support my back. If you wear Clarks I'm sure you'll love this New Balance shoe!!! Good Luck

LOVE THIS SHOE!!
Ever since my son was born almost 3 months ago, I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuromas in both feet. This is a great shoe for me in that has great support; great cushion, and is nice and WIDE!! I am able to walk the 5 blocks from my parking spot to my job without any problem in these shoes. The only thing that bothers me is that I like to go without socks, and every time I take these shoes off, the insole comes out too. A minor detail that I'm happy to overlook because me feet feel so good!

Walking in comfort -
This shoe gives you the support and comfort of a walking sneaker, but without heel rubbing. These are my choice whether walking locally or in Europe. They look good and are comfortable.

This shoe was waaaaaay narrower than my 801 model of this shoe and was also shorter than my 801 shoe. It's almost like they made it on a different last. I am still trying to find the 801 model of this shoe which was a solid 5 star quality. I gave the shoes away rather than return them.

I love this shoe!
I love New Balance, and this is no exception.
I have been wearing Mens 801's for a long while, and these feel narrower, but quite comfortable. They are nicer looking on my foot, feel great! Never met a New Balance I did not like, and the slip on variety works well with my arthritic fingers. No laces, no problem.

Zappos has done it again! Got my shoes in a little over 24 hours! These shoes are not by any means the most trendy shoes, but they are versatile and simple. I ordered a 9 wide and they fit well and have good support. I would say that the width isn't extremely wide, but it is wide enough for me. The size feels accurate to me. This is a good-quality basic shoe for everyday wear.

These shoes are light and comfortable. I would like to have more. They make good slippers, enough support so my feet do not get tired. Roomy toes which is a problem for me.

One of my all time favorite shoes -
I bought these to replace a similar pair (different color) I had completely worn out. These shoes are so comfortable; I wear them all the time. Shorts, pants they look fine with both. I love that they come in wide widths. I may have to purchase another pair just in case New Balance decides to get rid of this style. That would be heartbreaking to me!

I love the NB mules--my top priority in a shoe is that it supports and wears well. This style does the job excellently with the added bling of a bit of design flair in the fabric & insole!

Cloth, not sneaker material -
I thought the shoe would have a padded upper like a sneaker. Instead, it is just a layer of cloth. The shoe keeps your foot extremely warm -- can't be worn when it's too hot outside.

Great Look and Support!
Very well-made shoe, and has excellent arch support (New Balance is known for this). It has a MUCH better appearance than I originally expected. I bought the tan/green one and was pleasantly surprised! These also have a sleek look, which means that they really wrap around your foot, which is something you'd want for a slip-on type of shoe. They are also very light which feels great when you're walking around. You can just slip these on and go!

I am really glad I ordered these shoes. They look great and are easy to slip on and off. Very comfortable, I wear them every day now. I wear a wide size, so I was concerned that others said the shoes ran tight, but they are slip on with elastic after all, so it’s expected they will be a bit tighter on your feet. The wides fit great, with thin slick socks they seem to feel a bit roomier. I can see why many people recommended ordering a half size larger, it’s a good idea. I wear a ten, but I am at the smaller end, so ten was perfect for me.

Best slip-on tennie out there!
Wonderful shoes...excellent arch support. I just pop these on each day, and my feet feel great, supported, and very energetic. These are my favorite shoes. My first pair lasted a long time. I'm on my second pair. I need to go buy a third, just to have more color options.

MOST COMFORTABLE SNEAKER EVER!!!!
I bought a pair of New Balance mules a few years ago and loved them and each year I would buy a new pair. This year I tried everywhere to buy them and could NOT find them anywhere. I tried the New Balance website and they didn't have them. My friend told me about Zappos and so I gave it a shot. I was so happy to see the New Balance mules on Zappos. My new favorite shoe now also my new favorite place to buy them - Zappos. The shipping could not have been quicker either. I ordered them on a Saturday and they arrived on Monday! I am so smitten with Zappos! I can't believe I'm writing this because I never write reviews but as they say "Happy feet make a happy person".

These are beautiful. BUT the heel is a little loose and the toes are tight. High, high quality. Wish they felt a little more comfortable!!
